Went to Shari's with my daughter and grandma and received horrible service. We stood at the front not being greated for some time . We finally got acknowledged by her saying "two" to which I looked at my daughter and she said "oh 3" we got seated and my grandma asked for a high chair for my daughter . The waitress took off before even caring to get one . I looked around from where we were sitting and figured out where the high chairs were and went and grabbed one . Got my daughter in the high chair and started to look over the menu . About 10 or so minutes later the waitress has a high chair and says loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear "oh you already got the freaking high chair" and goes off to do something else . We waited a little bit longer only to continue to be ignored, so we got up and left. No drinks offered nothing .very poor service. Will not be back .
By far the worst restaurant ever. And that’s saying a lot. Out of most items, place was a mess. Bill for three meals of what ended up mostly being salad came to over 60 dollars
We were 2 out of 6 people in the whole place so it was very slow. I ordered egg, bacon and hasbrowns and toast and chocolate milk. I also ordered 1 extra egg and they charged $1.99!!!! I got the meal which was wrong, no ham instead chicken fried steak, does that even sound like ham! So it goes back and is gone 3 minutes max, not even time to cook the ham the right way!! Wheat toast was hard and burnt and i had to go find the waitress to ask for my milk, the chocolate milk had white and black stuff floating in it, called the waitress over told her to take it off my bill. The breakfast was cold, i had to eat it due to being a diabetic and had to get something in my stomach.Go to pay the bill, they took the milk off and tried to charge us for coffee!!! And they had to try our card 2 times before putting it in mannuly, so i will be watching my bank account and will never never eat there again or recommend them. Don't eat there!!!
This is the place to go when you're extremely suicidal and need a harsh way to go. Food poisoning at it's finest. The food was even sent back to be cook more thoroughly and still wasn't cooked enough. Not only that it tasted like soap, the silverware wasn't washed... Everything that was ordered was NOT cooked properly... The wait staff was even complaining about the garbage cook in front of customers... Bacon, isn't supposed to be raw, well done doesn't mean dripping blood, fries aren't supposed to be cold and soggy, though the juice bought from Walmart that they served was on point. So again, if you want to die or need someone's money from their will, this is the place to go. The cook will make sure you die, without even trying...
My family loves to get breakfast at Shari's. We know the food and the service will be good. Recently, they really went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with a school assignment and needed a place to hunker down with a soda and focus on my work. I asked my server (whose name was Shari also) if that was ok and she was so accommodating. I only ordered a drink and a cinnamon roll but she was super attentive, kept my glass full, and was just plain awesome. Thanks guys!
I ordered a burger and fries and it was delicious! I would have given 5 stars if the meat had been slightly more seasoned. thats the only part of the meal that could have been improved. the meat tasted a little bland. Great service, very fast and nice atmosphere
The wait staff is over worked, but they hustled and did a good job serving me. The cook is another story. Two pieces of bacon, one nearly raw and the other burned. The pancakes were crusty on top and gooey on the bottom. I asked for new ones that had not sat on the counter for an hour. I could hear the cook complain. Then my hash browns were under cooked. The cook is terrible and he has an attitude. I’m done with Shari’s. I’ll stick to locally owned restaurants. Two stars only because the servers were excellent, but the food was so bad that is rather go to Macdonalds.
if this is the one by gateway mall the turkey dinner had a small slice turkey very thin like it had been cut on a slicer like lunch meat. it was 3 inches in diameter. The service was slow but just one server who was very pleasant. Was staying at a near by motel but did and would not go back.
get better management. jill is always great when i catch her there. the other bone head managers haven't a clue. one went off on a 15 yr old in the lobby. luckily the kid wasn't there or I'd have jumped his @$$ about it. idk who does the management hiring but good lord do better!
I only put a one, honestly, to make sure people notice. As a table with more than 2 waitresses seated at it, everything was just terrible. The service was sparce,, every single meal we got was cold and the toast was just warm, buttered bread that I didn't even get until 3/4 of my meal was gone. They did comp 2 meals but in my opinion, everything should have been comped. What we should have done was walk out but we were all starving.
