My girlfriend and I thought we would try this place out since it is close by and had great reviews. I had chowmein, fried rice, orange chicken and an order of dumplings. The Chowmein was an odd thick creamy slop consistency almost like chicken pot pie. It was very bland and didn’t taste very good. The veggies they added weren’t even cooked all the way. The orange chicken was really dry as well as the rice. The only thing that was good was the dumplings. Idk what people are thinking giving this place such a good review but this place is not it! The food is very cafeteria like, and I’m talking school cafeteria quality. The owner was also very impatient and rude and that attitude does not make me want to come back even more. Save your money and go try some other place.
I had ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was horrible to say the least the peanuts were stale old and chewy the vegetables tasted like dirt, the pork fried rice had no vegetables and was overly sweet like they cooked it with a lot of sweet and sour or ketchup. I will never eat here again a fast food chain like Panda Express has better quality food and I pay half the price there.
We ordered take out for four people. Four combo meals and two appetizers. Holy cow! We could've fed everyone with just two meals. It's a LOT of food. We will have enough leftovers for a lunch and dinner, at least. I ordered extra sauce and it was a giant take-out container FULL of sauce. I didn't need to order it because the sauce included with my dinner was overflowing. The food was fantastic and ready when we got there. They didn't mess up the order at all either. Great food, great value. 10/10 recommend.
So yes I will agree that sometimes it is hit or miss here but the food we have found that is super delicious is the orange chicken with their handmade sauce, mar far chicken is crispy and the right amount of greasy, Pork lo mein, and we love the pot stickers, and what is more is my kids love it and there is hardly leftovers. When you have a craving and know you can count on the dishes you like, its worth it to me.
My dad, brother and myself went to eat here. I am pretty picky on my food but I gotta say hands down some really good food!! Family ran and just over all a good vibe. Nice staff… very happy with our food. The egg flower soup was so flavorful but not overwhelming!!! The orange chicken … it was like I took a bit of the juiciest Orange of my life!!! The servings are huge so come hungry ?Yes, very happy with this place and I will be coming back again that’s for sure!!
I went here for the first time after hearing people say how good it was. I ordered take out, I could not believe how bad it was. The almond chicken was dry needed way more gravy. The lo-mein was so dry you could not swallow it. Sweet and sour chicken, rice which looked like no chinese rice I have ever eaten in my my life, crab puffs were cold not crunchy what so ever, waited for 1 hour pick up, which was okay, but to have everything cold after paying over 50 dollars unacceptable. I rated it a one because the only thing hot was chow mein. Our family after trying a bite of everything literally threw it away.Take a drive to sweet home for the best chinese at Swans restaurant.
I've eaten here twice now, once indoors and once carry out. I don't eat wheat or meat so I can only eat meals that have rice noodles and veggies. So I can't comment on other foods for you. Both meals I had were pretty good. They were served very hot and the quantity was ample. There was a problem eating indoors, however, with one of the servers. He was wearing way too much fragrance and it made me sick. I wish servers would get a clue that people who are about to eat don't need their senses overwhelmed with chemicals. Also, I would like the restaurant to know that one in three people worldwide report experiencing symptoms on a daily basis from fragrance. Servers do not need to wear that stuff! Please, help your customers enjoy their meal and reserve you're wearing of chemicals for off hours.
Great food,very generous portions.
The food was good but they have weird menu limitations. Some items can only be ordered in the large quantities. No substitution of orange chicken or general tsao, among other items, in dinner combos.Staff was rude, seemed put out by having dine in customers. There was a bit of a language barrier and my order was initially wrong. They took the food back to "replate" it and brought back less than originally served.Overall I was very disappointed in my experience here.Take out is the way to go with this place. But make sure the person picking up is the one whose cared was used to pay. While we were there a lady came in to pick up food but they refused her because it was her husband's name on the card used to pay. Had to call him to verify....
We regularly stop for lunch here on our way to visit our son. We have always been pleased with anything from the Express lunch menu. Decent prices. Excellent service. Nice presentation. Overall pleasant experience.
