Absolutely horrible tasting, and the portion size was sad! Don’t waste your money.

This place was highly recommended by a friend, I now think my friend's mad at me. The servers were too rude to effectively take an order and I was clearly unwelcome even though I was the only person stopping by during the dinner hour. I guess they offended everyone else before lunch was over. I'm generally always down to support a family owned Thai place, but who has the time for condescension when you're already hungry?
Update- I've been here 3 times so far and it is amazing! The spicy level is super high!
I love their Pad Thai! The salad rolls are wonderful, too. Well worth the price. ;)
The Pad Thai was extremely sweet. The peanut sauce (also on the sweet side) was extra $... It seems odd that something that is a basic part of a dish is extra. There was little to no texture distinction between the noodles and the bean sprouts... Soggy. The pad seiu (sorry for spelling) was also on the sweet side but mostly edible.The wontons were good. The Rangoon was okay. We were here several years ago and it was reasonably good... This time was NOT. We are unlikely to return.

This place has always had somewhat oily noodles but then there was today's lunch. I ordered the pad thai, which I've had before and it was okay enough. Today's though could be considered soup. There was so much thick oil in the bottom of the box (noodles drenched as well) it was getting soaked thru before I got home a few blocks away. I had to pat the pad thai with paper towels and after sometime I just gave up. The dish was inedible. They seem like nice folk, but the food has gotten sooo bad. I will not be going back. Also worth noting the lunch special is advertised on their website at $8.50. The printed menu had it listed as $8.95. When I payed she charged me $9. So shifting prices are pretty sketch just by itself.

I was skeptical because I have my local favorites but this little place is amazing! Very courteous staff, promt service, great prices and very tasty food. So glad I took a chance here, I will definitely be back!
