06/15/22-We Stopped for dinner ? a week ago while in Springfield. Food and service was excellent. Our waitress was awesome and made very tasty drinks? ?. Thank you for the great ? service. Definitely recommend ?.It has been awhile since we have been here. The food is good, but the service was a little slow. Had to ask for the waitresses several times for more water, chips and salsa. Felt that they should have been more attentive. Still recommend ?.

We had never been here before but had friends staying at hotel close to the restaurant so 5 of us went there for dinner. My wife and I arrived first and we were greeted promptly even though they were busy. They seated us even though entire group wasn't there and were very patient with us once everyone was there, as we hadn't seen each for a couple of years. Brought us mild salsa when we requested it, as initial had pretty good bit of heat to it. Split our group into 3 checks with no problem and answered all our questions. I had two enchiladas (carnitas and shredded beef) red sauce , rice and beans and my wife had the veggie burrito (huge served with rice and beans also). Others had one enchilada rice and beans, and combo fajitas, all were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at both the food and service as reviews I'd seen weren't as good as our experience. We will definitely go back and recommend Hacienda Amigo Mio to anyone who asks.

We had a 2-for-1 coupon so decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. Our waitperson really knew her stuff. She rattled off a long list of beers from memory and was able to recommend dishes that were exactly what we were looking for. The beverages, warm chips and fresh salsa showed up within minutes.I had the Chili Verde and it was exceptional and the marinated salad was a tasty surprise. I have enough leftovers for probably two more meals!I highly recommend this place. We will definately be back.

Stopped in to have an early dinner and some drinks. I brought in an almost empty coffee from next door. The host was very nice and sat us but didn't say anything about the coffee cup I brought in. We sat and immediately the bartender was at our table telling me that outside food was not allowed without even saying hello. I wanted to toss it outside but there was no trashcan, so I figured I would finish it as we waited for our drinks. Instead we left and won't be back anytime soon. Host was very nice but the bartender was very rude.

Took 15 minutes just to get water, 25 minutes to get a scoop of bean dip for the chips the lady thought when I said to make the veggies crispy instead added zucchini, mushrooms and carrots to my steak fajitas so I asked them to re-make it and just have it to go since we had been there an hour it took another 45 to make my steak fajitas I decided to check and they came out greesey as heck and barely any veggies. And to top it off the owner told me as I was leaving that I was trying to get a free meal even though I showed him what was in the box. if I had wanted a free meal I could have done that in under the two hours I practically waited for my food. The staff were rude well I'll definitely go some where else

Just had my first experience of this place. My cousin had a bad experience where his order was messed up multiple times and of course wanted it fixed. He invited us to go with him this evening and due to wanting his food fixed on the last visit, a very rude waitress let us know that him and his family where no longer welcome there. Choose your side on that situation but to be extremely short, rude and condescending to my family on our first visit did not sit well. Won’t be going back.As far as the food itself,I got the macho burrito, not horrible but not anything special. Comparable to Taco Bell, so I’ll wait half the time and save half the money to run across the street.

It was ok. Nothing special about it. Waitress talked over us while ordering. She didn’t seem like she’s been trained in customer service as her communication skills are lacking. Food was a little on the oily side. might give them one more try.

My husband and I wanted some really good Mexican food tonight after a long day at work. The service was lousy. I complained about my Dr. Pepper being sour and flat. The waitress told me it was fine and bubbly. I told her take it away and bring me some water instead. The chips were ok, toasty and crispy. The salsa tasted sour like it had been sitting out most of the day. I ordered the tacos de la calle, they were dry and sour way too much onion. The food overall had too much onion and was oily and nasty. We will not be eating there again. Way over priced and didn't even get an apology for my drink. I am only clicking on the one star because otherwise it will not let me post. I give them minus zero stars.

I have been coming here about since the pandemic began. It's such a gem, and I've loved just about everything I have tried. The portions are great, and the staff is fantastic. I regularly bring family and friends with me, and the staff does a great job of both being covid-safe, and also being aware of any allergens or special needs. My favorites have been the bocoditos, the fajitos (feeds lots!), and now the shrimp enchiladas. 5+ stars!

So delicious! The fajitas for 2 are amazing — you'll eat too much and still have leftovers for another meal. (Oh— did I mention fresh, warm tortilla chips? Yum!)
