The gnocchi appetizer is delightful, so light and fluffy with a delicious parmesan cream sauce. Both steak dishes were amazing, as was the baked macaroni. Dessert sweetened the deal! Smoked earl grey tea ice cream and a fig leaf bavarois as photographed. Wonderful and lovely to look at! One of my very favorite experiences!!
We went here for our anniversary. Picked it randomly and was not disappointed at all. This is one of, if not the best, places I have eaten in Oregon and one of the top anywhere I have eaten. (Paris, New York, Palm Springs, etc) I saw the Caesar Wedge on the menu and looked forward to trying it all week. It surpassed my expectations. We had the prawns and they were unreal, cooked to perfection. My wife had the best lemon drop she has ever had. I can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu! The service was amazing and the pricing was surprisingly low for the quality.
A friend brought me here and I was not disappointed! The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious, and we got their savory baked Brie appetizer which was amazingly flavorful. Great atmosphere and friendly employees as well!
The food here is really good. We had appetizers main dish and dessert. We also had drinks this is a place where you would go for a nicer evening out celebrating birthday anniversaries etc althy relations they are known for their steaks
This was the best meal I have had in the Eugene/Springfield area. We have been here since August 2020 and have had many good meals but none that have compared to George and Violet's. Their steak melted in your mouth, and their desserts made you wish you had more. We had the pleasure of being served on by Noelle and she did a FABULOUS job. Ask to be in her section when you make your reservation (which you will need!)
The service here was impeccable and the foods was good. I was told the steak (ribeye) was the best ever and as it turns out mine was not. The menu says the brisket is seasoned for 40 days so I had high hopes it would be tender but was not. The brisket was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes and calamari were perfection.
Great meal. I have my favorites, mushroom soup, steak frites and lemon panne cotta. Great service and cocktails. One of our favorite restaurants.
Delicious food.. Amazing 2 rib pork chop and mushrooms soup... 2nd time here and had pork chop and soup both times... My daughter had their Steak Burger.. "Delicious" she said. Prices are reasonable for the food quality.. Staff are attentive and courteous.
The drinks were very good. The sides that we had were absolutely incredible. Worthy of a trip just based on the sides! The steak was very very good and I was not disappointed with the portion size at all. My New York Strip 12 oz was very much an honest 12 oz, 9/10! The desert was also very very fantastic and Noel our server was expedient and very friendly and knowledgeable.
Food and drinks at this place were excellent. Menu is a bit pricey but its worth it. We had the pork chop and the steak frites. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly. Service was also really on point as well and we will definitely return.
