El Taco Express is a consistently great taqueria, with delicious food and fabulous service.Their food is always excellent and filling. Unfortunately, I always order more than I can eat, because there's so much great stuff there.This last time through, our order came to $20 for two meals each for myself and my partner.The only drawback to this place is the parking, as the lot space directly in front of the restaurant is fairly narrow and difficult to safely navigate. However, there is plenty of parking available outside of that narrow slot, so this should not discourage anyone from visiting and filling up on some fantastic Mexican food.
I absolutely love this place I moved from Arizona and it was really hard for me to find a Mexican place that was close and similar to the food that I'm used to when it comes to Mexican food and this place is awesome they put the perfect amount of meat inside my burrito there is no lettuce which that is awesome because who puts lettuce in a burrito all the other restaurants around here makes no sense
The amount of food you get for the price you can't find a deal any where like it any more. Its really busy but they are super fast!! The take-out is really messy. Get lots of napkins! Definitely a student place.
Always good and great prices! I've been going there since I was a kid and now I take my kid there! One of Springfield/Eugene’s best restaurants!
I got the torta Cubana it was amazing and the prices are really reasonable looking forward to trying more menu items, highly recommend this place
This place has always been a 10/10 and after all these years still pulls rank. Go check out their $2.50 tacos. Got the carnitas tacos last time and was stuffed on 3. Their yummy hot sauce is made in house. Excellent chili rellenos. Always a friendly experience in store. And excellent prices.

Not as good as it used to be. They don't make it fresh anymore. Faster than McDonald's. You can tell its just sitting there waiting for your order. Hot sauce isn't the same. Changed the spices too. Better than Safeway.
The menudo on the weekend is always good and is the perfect morning comfort food !!!
