Do waste you time or money here, unless you like passive aggressive treatment. Visted the area from Texas. Went to this place to meet up with family and friends for Father's day. The owner "politly" yet rudely told us they couldn't accommodate more than 7 people, and at first said they could split us up. She said their waitresses just couldn't handle more than 7, great waitresses (maybe reconsider your choice in staff). When the other two people arrived we were told they would have to wait to be seated even though no one else was waiting up front, and plenty of tables were open. We left, basically having to leave half the party there. We went to Shari's, and they were busy yet provided excellent service. It's sad that a chain restaurant can provide great service, when you'd think you'd get that from a small diner. The Owner at busy bee clearly doesn't care about customer service.
Staff are incompetent and rude don't know what specials are or which days. The restaurant runs out of some foods regularly. If you complain politely, you are loudly criticized. One worker was clearly sick with runny nose, no mask and using sleeve to wipe her face. I used to go here often, but no more for me. There are plenty of restaurants that do better

Betty is the owner and such a sweetheart! So sad her partner passed away. Great food great service for years! Reccomend to anyone they have the best hashbrowns in Oregon! Even after moving to portland we always stop in when we are in town. Staff still remembers us. Love everything about this place!

We absolutely love the Busy Bee! Their food is always delicious, staff is attentive, and the general atmosphere is so cozy! Even when they are busy and short staffed, food comes out hot and steamy, the coffee is constant, and smiles are everywhere! Did I mention their prices are probably some of the best in town right now! Treat yourself to the steak and egg breakfast, you won't be disappointed!!

$10 for a 6oz sirloin with eggs, hash browns, and choice of toast. Really tasty french toast. Everyone that works there is so friendly. Perfect little breakfast spot.
The environment is so friendly and warm and the staff was very attentive. Food reminded me of my grandmas home cooking. I ordered the Busy Bee with pancakes ,very delicious. Definitely will be visiting again.
