This place is awesome! The bartender was very attentive and friendly! Good bar food, great drinks and you have tv's and games if you get bored. ?
Our meals were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We went on a Monday night before the big rush of tourist season so seating was quick and the service was excellent.
I don’t ever leave negative reviews but I don’t want other people to spend $100 on a watery mess. It was packed when we went and it took almost an hour to get our food. My order was wrong but I ate it anyway because we were starving. All three plates, Mac and cheese, beef stroganoff and the seafood fettuccine came with watery undercooked sauce. I’m assuming when they are not so busy and have time to cook their food properly that this is a nice place. But I wanted to post a review because this place is expensive for what you get, which is not good quality.
Peter at the bar is a hero and veteran of the industry. The chowder is unique and worth the visit every time. I enjoy the atmosphere and the locals I've met over the past months I've visited.
The food was absolutely outstanding from the small micro green salad on the plate to the perfectly cooked asparagus with spaghetti squash confetti. The baked potato with wonderfully seasoned and the meatloaf with beer Demi glaze was absolute perfection!!
We came in for a late evening dinner. Service was a little slow, because there was only 1 lady serving in the lounge, but she was also tending the bar. Once she got caught up, she was attentive and very knowledgeable about food choices. Our food was excellent and rich. Would definitely come here again!
Honestly I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Started with the Beet Salad, which was large, beautifully made and highlighted by a balsamic drizzle. Took some home for the next day and decided on the clam strip basket. Not something I would normally eat, but this reminded me of going to Howard Johnson's with my mom and getting clam strips. Not normally a lover of fried food, however, these were delicious and filling. Savored every bite!

We loved this place so much that we went back 3 times in our 2 day stay. Their food is so fresh, they get things delivered fresh daily. The bread in my chowder bowl was obviously baked within a day. It was so chewy and soft and perfect! We went with friends and everyone’s meal was amazing every time. Plus as a bonus… we’ll we always sat in the back bar area, but the bartenders were so fun, funny and accommodating
We had a large group show up unannounced. The entire staff was very helpful and welcoming. Even with a large crowd the food was prepared and to order. Service was excellent, despite being shorthanded. We had great meal, great drinks and a great time.
