Came here looking for oysters. We had pan fried oysters and they were delicious. The rest of our food was good. Staff was friendly and restrooms were clean.
Manager regularly waits tables. Mostly likely due to his attitude in general. Doesn't know his own menu. Couldn't tell me what his clam chowder was like. Didn't check on our drink brought out our appetizer cold and soggy. Didn't hear my husbands main entree. So it wasn't made didn't offer fix his mistake. Never checked our drinks. Tried to wave him down while waiting for our order to order a salad he completely ignored us. Became combative when I told my husband no tip, apparently he had heard. Said he doesn't need it. Apparently he doesn't need customers either.
Placed a to go order on the 4th of July for 2 broils, got back to out hotel room and my 85$ kitchen sink for 2 had half of a tiny snow crab in it. My wife's broil was frozen store bought shrimp not fresh waste of money and time so disappointed. I called multiple times to try to resolve this possible mistake and was completely blown off. I would not recommend this restaurant. Pictures below are the meals Iwe received at market value they claimed.
Skewered shrimp, halibut fish and chips. So good.Wife was really bragging on their clam chowder that came with her shrimp.
Poor food quality, cold, self-indulgent supposed manager. Boil was microwaved. Dried up and no flavor.
After reading all the reviews we decided on to give it a try for ourselves. So happy we did, we had outstanding services. Our food was quick and fresh! I had the shrimp Alfredo it was excellent! Shrimp was perfectly cooked! Husband has a steam combination plate he clears his plate!Overall in our opinion it was well worth it.We had a great experience.
Pretty much a total fail on our take-out dinner. The clam linguine was a big disappointment - don't order if you're expecting something other than a bunch of steamed clams mixed with naked linguine noodles. We were sort of expecting some sort of sauce... anything? The fish and chips might have been fine -- the cod pieces were generous and excellent -- but we had to perform a crust-ectomy because the breaded coating was so soggy with grease that it was reduced to mush on the underside. Kinda gross. And finally, totally blown orders. Whoever answered the phone clearly hadn't looked at their menu too often... or maybe whoever filled the order? Ranch dressing instead of tarter sauce and didn't get chips with the fish (weird!). Just kind of a train wreck, though probably just a reflection of the labor shortage these days, who knows?
We had a wonderful family lunch at Seaside here. They were very accommodating and welcoming of our large party. I will definitely return.
I had steamer claims, more than half were bone dry, and very old looking. The rest were full of sand and shell. I have never had claims with shell in them. I ate about 20% of them and quit , waitress asked how the food was and I told her. I expected to have the claims price taken off the menu but no reduction in our bill-for an item I Love but could not eat. We will not be going back.
What a fun location! We stopped by to experience a seafood dinner and were not disappointed. Food was delicious, service was friendly and helpful, we had a wonderful meal and great time. Would give 10 stars if possible.
