This place is great! Before coming here for the first time I saw all of the scenic photos and the food looked good so I thought I'd give it a try, oh boy you will not be disappointed! When you fist walk in, you get a very cozy vibe. Just like a toasty log cabin in the winter. The giant antler chandelier was cool and creative! The staff were very friendly and welcoming! The food was solid! You can't go wrong with the clubhouse and the strawberry rhubarb cobbler was SO good! Don't forget to put the ice cream on top, it's a MUST! Thank you to all of the staff that made my first experience here enjoyable! (Yes that's me trying to RKO the bear.)
My husband and I have been to Camp 18 Restaurant many times but since 2019 today was our first trip back since Covid ended. We noticed the menu was different and favorites like Bread Pudding were no long available. This has been a trademark of their for years. We ordered the beef stew which has 8 bay leaves still in it and the meat was mostly fat. We wonder if it has changed hands since our last trip in 2019.
This place has the BEST cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. It is the size of your head, and it came out warm. I was expecting it to just be famous simply because of how big it is, but the taste and feel of it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Oregon. The food was good too, but the CINNAMON ROLL!!
Everytime I am in the area, this is a must! I have memories of my logger father bringing our family here when I was younger. I brought my kids and others here as well over the years. My grandfather is a name in the museum. This trip, I had my dog with me, so I grabbed a Patty Melt and a Cinnamon Roll to go. I ate half the patty melt on the picnic table down by the water. My dog and I had a lovely lunch break! The infamous cinnamon roll will be for breakfast in the morning. Definitely looking forward to that! Yum!The restaurant is beautiful and the center beam from one tree is a marvel to see in person. Plan to spend some time walking the grounds and seeing the displays as well as the gift shop and Logging Museum.
Fun place to stop and enjoy the old logging equipment and natural beauty in the surroundings. The restaurant is lovely however can be busy depending on when you go there is much to see and do here as well as a logging museum next-door. Lots of wonderful equipment that you can get photos with as well as just a natural scenery.
Passed be this several times on this road, like alot of roads going to the coast its busy and really need to stay on your driving. However this time the traffic was slower and WOW and I realized this was a restaurant road side attraction, not just a logging mill. Being a photographer I stopped there walked around the grounds with my companion Jovi and shot pictures and read history went over to the main house read the menu sounded soo good. However they were extremely and its was an extremely hot day!! I could not leave my companion in the car and I dont think he would be invited inside :-) So I passed on the restaurant I will be back when I am in that area again Its an awesome place even if you just walk the grounds
A very welcoming atmosphere inside a log built Restaurant with alot of historic logging pieces. We we're promptly seated with a beautiful view of the creek behind the Restaurant. Our waiter Roger gave us a little history behind the Restaurant as he greeted us at our table. I ordered the Lumberjack Burger that has Onion rings on it and bbq sauce & It was so delicious and cooked perfectly!Definitely worth stopping here on your way to the Oregon coast along state highway 26.If the logging industry or history interests you, I would recommend while you're here checking out their historic pieces of logging equipment and Logging museum.
friendly customer service, friendly staff you have to try the clam chowder, homemade bread

Great experience for our first time in Oregon! It was a lovely building with a great gift shop and lots of logging equipment for a brief tour!
