The best hole in the wall lil Oregon secret. The only "Fast food" Mexican restaurant I'll go.Things to order-•Carnitas street tacos (tacos chilangos) with cheese and cilantro and a side of guacamole.•Bacon breakfast burrito add cilantro•Tots with sour cream and cheese•Red and green salsa

I've been here several times since we moved to Salem over a year ago. I've never had any bad food from here. The staff are always very nice. I've had the fish tacos, the breakfast burritos and the street tacos. Very good. Also I'd like to add the Horchata is EXCELLENT. I am super picky about horchata and how it's made. Some places put too much spices in it and some don't put enough. Some places don't make it sweet enough OR it's way too sweet- Victorico's gets zero complaints from me. It is perfect??

Again. Again, I waited in the drive thru line to get the food I ordered and again I double check " please corn tortillas with the meal then I wait again to get to the window and I specifically ask again please corn tortillas and again I am hugely disappointed when I open the wrapper and it a horrible rubbery flour tortillas. Never again. No stars for jerks. Ha it won't post unless you give star... Shove this one star you know where.

First off, the staff was awesome. Great job. Very nice, polite and smiling. That being said, this place has the Absolute worst, bland tasting Mexican food in the salem area. Its greasy, has no seasonings whatsoever, and didnt even look appetising. The tomatoes were super pale, mushy, and were almost a clear greenish color. The beans were hardly palatable. More like sticking a spoonful of lard in your mouth. Cheese that didn't melt and stayed a chalky consistency. Must not even be cheese. And as I stated, no seasonings. No salt, no pepper, nothing. The street tacos were a disgrace to the name street taco. Maybe take some time and train/allow your cooks to season the food a bit. It doesnt have to be over the top, but put SOME seasonings in the food. And check your green salsa... it tasted like it was going bad.

Usually very good, but ordered the crispy tacos with carne and it was dripping grease so bad. Soaked thru 3 napkins.I won't order these again and stick with the carne street tacos. Those are great.

I just ordered a simple taco.Inedible!!Burned. Greasy. Horrible.I am shocked that the most simple could be so bad.2/15/2022

I definitely have my favorites here but check your bags people, 75% of the time they leave something out. I was just there and they left out the side of Queso dip, that's $3 people and yeah that might not be a lot but if they leave out something for every customer that sure adds up. So annoying. ?

I usually come to this place and don't have any issues but tonight I surprisingly found raw chicken in my rice. It wasn't cooked, completely raw chicken mixed in with the rice when I ordered the number 5. I called to let them know and they just seemed kinda surprised and said they would tell the kitchen staff.

The food is so good! My only issue is I didn’t get beans and rice on my basic burrito. Realizing people make mistakes I won’t be giving a negative star rating, the burrito was still amazing without it so why hate?

2 out of 3 times Victorico's has had difficulties with our order.Food is pretty greasy though it can taste good even with the massive stomach pains it gives away as a tip.EXAMPLE: The deep fried Chile Rellenos are often soaked in grease because they aren't drained/dried/de-greased enough prior to plating, and they don't put anything in the waterproof box to help. The Adobada meat has often been fat-laden AND greasy though the flavor can still be yummy if you have tortillas and RICE.The staff may be "sweet", as other reviewers have mentioned, but they may need some training in treating the customer as they should, if they intend to not continually get bad reviews from locals that used to like the place and now only go back once in a while when most of the other places are closed for a holiday and/or covid outbreak from the winter holiday gatherings . EXAMPLE: i Ordered $20+ of food at the drive-thru and did not get the rice which I actually needed for my body to let me eat the rest of the meal well. The female that answered the phone when we called to have it fixed (after driving 30+ minutes to our home) said that they had mentioned ,"out of rice". She didn't specifically say she told us this valuable tidbit of information, and we certainly were listening because whoever took our order initially was talking quickly and we wanted to make sure we heard. Now it begins to be a little tricky because neither the restaurant nor myself can prove what happened. I believe it's possible we didn't hear her because she wasn't communicating effectively, in such a case the restaurant would be at fault and should volunteer to refund the money for the Adobada plate at least. However, in the food industry, the customer is always right in a tie for poor communication; this is to preserve the good feelings the restaurant promotes you will feel from just eating their food.I attempted to be nice on the phone and told them "it sucks" and that they should "put a sign up". Not real original thinking on my part, but at least they understood what I intended to communicateFor the record, I haven't seen any restaurants around here run out of basic rice if they were being managed properly, but this place runs out often and it's super easy to make a big, simple, 2 word sign that says, 'No Rice". to save us all from reading boring reviews written while we're hungry and nauseous. If you read this review, make sure to ask, 'Do you have rice today?", even if you think they say they do, verify because the sign they actually need reads, "Come to the window because we can't fully take your order from the call box."Hee hee.Might be a little wordy. ;)
