The yard is a food cart paradise. There are 20 different food cart vendors here. So the choices are endless. There is also a full bar on location. There is indoor and outdoor dining for your convenience. This is a great place to go eat with a crowd of people because everyone can choose to eat at any restaurant they desire.
Great place! Must stop. So many food choices. Stage. Tons of seating. Easy parking. I wish they had one of these where I lived. If I ever am in the area again I'm visiting. Very clean restrooms.
The Yard Food Park is by far our top choice for date-nite when we're in Salem. It's especially great if for a double date or just groups, because with the wide selection of options- everyone can find something they like. With very rare exceptions, all of the people that operate the various food trucks have been friendly and have had wonderful food. The Yard itself has some outside seats, and ample indoor seating with a full bar- and they can make some great drinks. If you're there at the right time, there's even live music and comedy shows (we haven't made it to the comedy shows, but its on our list of must-do's). Over all its a great place to go!
By heart I am a New Yorker, snd I loved those outside sidewalk vendors. So I took delight in The Yard Food Park in Salem. A unique restaurant, The Yard had many individual food carts with good ranging from Italian to Chinese and good ole American. You buy your food and drink from one or more vendors, then sit at these colorful round wooden chairs and tables. Inside the pavilion you can order wine and beer and hot coffee. (On a chilly morning). There is a well kept bathroom too. Many events take place at the Yard, comedy nights and the like. The food is made right there in the cart and so it is served nice and hot. People bring their dogs and children so brunch is really a family gathering. The Yard is open at 11, until about 8. Family fun family food and all outside for the New Yorker in all of us.
This was the second time I've visited The Yard Food Park in Salem. This time I ate at the Romen Cart. This picture below doesn't do it justice ! This Romen was the Shiz!! This is their Miso Romen with extra pork belly Mmm!!! I sat outside in the beautiful sun at one of the provided spool tables while I ate. The choices of food at the Yard beg to be tried, SO each time I go, I try something new and so should YOU !!!
Stopped by for the first time on 4-6-22 to meet a friend...Nice mix of inside and outdoor seating (w/ceiling heat).Well stocked bar with liquor, wine and beer. Served by a friendly staff.Not sure if it was do to, with it being a nice sunny day. And the closed vendors ran out of supplies. Or if alot of the food cart vendors close by 5pm? I was there around 5:45pm.Food cart selection was limited...I chose JoJo's Soul Food & Memphis BBQ. I had their Wednesday special.Unfortunately, the outer layer of meat was over cooked and dry. Fries were good.

We went to the Yard based on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist. It was pretty easy to get there. The food trucks had great selections. The beers, ciders and drinks available in the food hall were abundant, interesting and delicious. My wife had a Cider and I had a local beer.
Great ? and pizza ? with fun events.
had aristacrab for the first time and it was amazing. huge portions, great spices and flavors. was definitely worth every penny!
