Still no pizza after 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting. I called twice, the first time I was given the manager's number if I wanted a discount because I had waited 90 minutes. I called again 15 minutes later. They just said they'd give me a refund and cancel the order. I won't be eating from this Straight from New York again. Mostly because the delivery driver will never show up.
I love the pizza here, but I did an online order to be picked up at 5:10. I got here right on time and I’m still waiting at 5:45. All they say is sorry it’s busy and we only have one oven. So give yourself a lot of time if you’re ordering from here!!!Edit: got the pizza 40 minutes after my scheduled delivery time. Got it home and it was tasty but over cooked. And there was one whole slice that had virtually no toppings at all. Like, nothing. Disappointing!
Waited almost two hours, which is fine--it was dinner rush. But the pizza arrived crushed, with all the cheese stuck to the top of the box. Called for a replacement but they said they had several orders in front of us. She did not agree with my reasoning that I had ordered before those people and should be put in front of the line. She said the only way to get in front of the line was to come pick it up. Eventually she refunded the price of the pizza. Very terrible customer service.
This was not the best experience at all. First the SFNY menu on Uber Eats is confusing. I ordered a calzone. And some wings. The Uber Eats delivery driver who was fabulous I might add gets there and it's not done which was already plenty of time to be done. They tell her they have to take 2 items off calzone bc it only has 5. They told her they couldn't contact me. Well that's interesting. The only call I got was from Massachusetts. I don't answer calls I don't know that are from somewhere I know no one. Like a scam call. Driver sits there waiting the whole time for them to put it together and get it in the oven. And it takes FOREVER!!! It was about 1 1/2 hours from time of order to time I got it. And I only live 2 minutes away from SFNY. To top that off the calzone was BURNT on the TOP and BOTTOM. The wings were BURNT too. The inside tasted pretty good for the most part BUT the ricotta was like smush...bc they cooked it too long. Need a new cook maybe?? Idk but bc they took soooo long and than I get burnt...near black burnt on the crust. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I think I'd at least like to have a FREE pizza or calzone UNBURNT for the trouble. Or refund my money. It's the least they can do if they're a good business. I would do that if it was my business. Would I try them again? Not so sure. It wasn't a delivery problem AT ALL. She was GREAT!! It was all SFNY with the issues. Thanks for listening. Order at your own risk. Lol 2 1/2 stars. And that's generous lol.
This place lied to me that my order was out for delivery and then I called back 45 min later and they said 1 hour and 45 mintues after I placed my order that they hadn't even started the order and that they would start it then but it would take a while because they were busy. I canceled my order. I will never go back here because they are dishonest.
Great pizza, bread sticks, and service. Not so great beer choices, no hard ciders offered. Every table was dirty so had to clean our own.
If I could give less than a star I would. When I called, I was told 45-1hr for pizza delivery. Ok cool. An hour and 20 minutes goes by, no pizza. We call, they say their driver is out and they are waiting on him. No apologies. Pizza was sitting there just waiting for delivery. We were told we could come pick up our cold pizza, and get refunded the delivery charge. Pass. Asked for a full refund.
I've had their pizza several times and its usually pretty good. This time around though we ordered delivery and it took 2 HOURS!!! One pizza was luke warm and the other cold. They didn't call to say anything about the pizza being late and proceeded to tell me after an hour and 15 minutes that it was on the way. 45 minutes later and the guy clearly expected a tip. We live 10 minutes away and you can't give a courtesy call, free side or even a sorry? Horrible customer service! Don't offer delivery if you can't provide in a timely manner....
I love this place! Their pizza slices are huge and their bread sticks are so thick and fluffy, this is my new favorite pizza place
