What a surprise to see the portions and quality of the Fish and chips.. Salem has stepped up there game when it comes to restaurants!!! Great job Santiam brewery!!! We will have to return!!!

Small and quiet and everything comes in mason jars. That should tell you a lot.

Great British style brew pub with excellent English ales like ESB’s, Porters, and Pale Ales. I had the spicy Chicken Tikki Massala Pie which was delicious. They have a darts area with two dart boards and an English Billiards table. Will definitely come back again.

We tend to pick a brewing when traveling to other places. We traveled to Salem to pick up puppy. My husband found this brewery and we decided to give them a try. I’m so glad that we did. The food is amazing and the beer and ciders are great too. I picked a cherry cider and wound up buying a growler to bring home. Wish they were closer to home we would be here weekly. Staff is friendly and very nice. On a side note the mushy peas are imported from England. And they too are great!! You won’t regret stopping!!!

Oh boy do I love the British style fish and chips here! Absolutely amazing -- and HUGE! When available, they use haddock, which is authentic per British standards. Today they had haddock, so yay for me! ? The tartar sauce is a perfect balance of appropriate condiments. My wife had Tim's chicken sandwich with a side salad and both were delicious as well. ?The service is also excellent -- fast and friendly. Highly recommended!

I would go back! And, if you're interested in trying different beers, this is a worthy place to check out!Overall Score: 40/50 (4 star exactly)Cleanliness: The style of this place can make it feel a little old and possibly dirty, but they seem to keep everything clean and in order. None of my utensils, glasses, or table were dirty. Bathrooms needed a little help. (8/10)Service: I went at a time when it wasn't busy (lunch on a Wednesday), so service was fast. The server was great and friendly. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. (8/10)Quality: As the beer and food goes, this is always subjective. It was good in my perspective. Could it have been better? Absolutely! Still a great place for lunch and some beers. I really enjoyed some of their darker beers. I would encourage them to focus on experimenting there more. (8/10)Environment: This one is a little odd, but it does make me think of an English pub which I believe is the goal. It's not trying to be fancy, and I think the food/menu/beer reflects this theme. Not my personal choice, but I think they hit their mark. Great place to watch some soccer. (9/10)Uniqueness: It definitely distinguishes itself from the more "modern breweries," but it doesn't standout too much as far as a pub goes. I think the beer could be more unique; however, I think they tried branching out in styles more than other breweries I checked out in the area. (7/10).

My husband, myself and a friend had lunch at Santiam today. Stephanie was our server and was absolutely great. Very knowledgeable about drinks and food. She recommended some things. The food was just excellent as was the cherry cider I had.

Always a great experience coming here! The staff is wonderful and food is excellent!

Capitol Brewers had their Brown beer competition judging at Santiam Brewing this week.A huge thank you to Ian, Jimmy, William and Taylor for donating their time to judge our beers.Santiam also donated some gift cards for the winners. It is so special to have a business like Santiam Brewing extend itself to support the homebrew community. You guys and gals are super special!Thank You, Greg Gehres, VP Capitol Brewers.

Place had a solid atmosphere, but I would NOT recommend the scotch eggs. They were so insanely salty I couldn’t even finish them.
