This place is a great atmosphere for business meetings or just going out for cocktails and food. They craft some pretty amazing spirits using made in house syrups and fruit puree. The food is pretty solid as well with a lot of the things made a 100% from scratch including the sauces. I'm a big fan of their salads, pizza's and the rueben sliders with french fries. The staff is great and the bartenders are very professional. It's a fun place to go.
Decided to give Ritter's a first try after hearing about it from friends and family for a while now. All references have been good and it looked like a nice atmosphere.Awesome food and service likewise. Came in with a couple friends of mine for dinner.Was seated faster than expected without booking a table prior, on what seemed to be a busy Saturday night.We were on the wait list for just a few minutes before promptly being updated that our table was ready to go. Then we were seated upstairs by our super kind and helpful hostess.Our orders were taken by our server about 10 minutes later which I thought was great considering how many tables were occupied. To my surprise our server greeted us with an apology for the wait time and was ready to take our order.We all decided on getting their Chipotle steak salads. All 3 came out in a timely manner with great presentation and tender steak paired with fresh tomatoes that all came together very well.Our server was also very kind and helpful checking up on our table, and making sure we were satisfied.Needless to say I'll definitely be adding to those that reccomend this local restaurant for good reason.It's always nice to see modern local business like this one that have their act together from the seemless reservation system, customer service and good food at a reasonable price.
Yo! This place was freaking amazing! The staff was incredible, kind, attentive, and on very top of food allergies! The hostess seated as promptly, the server was over fairly shortly despite the fact they were pretty busy, The food was out incredibly fast, I was completely taken aback how quickly the food came considering how busy they were, so freaking awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the food was absolutely delicious! All around a wonderful experience and definitely would come back and recommend to my friends! Thanks for having us!!
A large group came for dinner. The service was a little slow. 3 of us got the chicken sandwich and it wasn’t great. The batter was falling off with each bite and was too messy to hold. I eventually just had to just use a fork. The fries were good and so was the ranch. My friend got a pizza and said it was just okay. She said it was a little soggy. The worst part was everyone’s food came out at weird times. The salad first. Pizzas second. Burgers third and then the chicken sandwiches last. Overall it was a very underwhelming experience and we won’t be returning.

I have been seated here twice. Maybe their food is good, maybe their drinks are the best in town, I wouldn't know. We have been seated twice, once at the bar which two bartenders were behind, handed menus and waters upon seating and then never served. Was it busy? No, there were many open tables. Was I being impatient? We both finished our waters while attempting to flag down service. We live in downtown Salem, we won't go to Ritter's.
Amazing tasting food! Brussel sprouts with bacon were delicious! Smash burger and rosemary fries were also top notch (was glad to hear the fries were fried in rice bran oil)! Followed it up with a house made chocolate chip cookie (okay, maybe 2). Definitely found my new spot while up here for work.
First time dining at Ritter's but definitely not the last. paloma cocktail was wonderful. Oregonzola burger cooked to perfection. Crispy, gooey, everything I could ask for. And I'm not a big fan of fries but the fries here may convert me. I ate almost all of the very generous portion. definitely will be a return customer
Haven't been back since covid but they seem to have changed their Brussels and we tried the baked brie for the first time and we could have used a few more pieces of bread. The service has always been a tad slow but they were prettt busy. The kombucha was awesome and we had a great girls day?
