We went through the drive through and ordered the chicken sandwich combo (original and spicy) and both were perfect. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I asked for a packet of mayo and the woman at the window went through the trouble of getting a container and putting mayo in it for me (I guess they didn't have any packets?). The drinks weren't chocked full of ice... I hate when there is more ice than beverage. Overall, the meal, and the girl at the pickup window were great. The person taking the order, however, was not so friendly, so that's why the one star deduction. Definitely would eat here again, though. Quick, efficient, and delicious!
Tonight my husband went here and was asked to wait 10 min so they could make more chicken. That’s fine but after 20 min, they brought chicken out for the car who arrived AFTER him and was also asked to park, plus it was now twice as long as they said it would take. While waiting, a young Hispanic employee came out for his break and proceeded to tell whoever was on the phone how rude he was to a customer who was upset for having to wait so long. He said when the lady told him she was going to write a bad review for the terrible service she received, he told her to go ahead, he didn’t care, and he wasn’t going to make her any chicken. Unfreaking believable!! He should be fired for treating a customer like that, especially when it was their fault!! But he won’t be fired. This is now the level of service we get since everyone is short-staffed. We won’t be coming back.Btw…we got our food after 35 min!!! No apology!! No offer of a dessert or other compensation!! And once we got home, we realized our chicken wasn’t spicy like we ordered and 5 of our 10 piece chicken were legs!! These employees need retraining immediately.We love Popeye’s Chicken but this location has been having some serious problems lately from overcooked dry chicken, completely wrong orders, lack of expected condiments (like butter for biscuits), and now terrible service. To make this worse, we live in West Salem, so by the time we get home and notice, we don’t want to waste our time or money going all the way back to get the order corrected. Never again!!
Chicken is moist, tasty and served hot. We got the chicken sandwich but ended eating the chicken mostly alone, bun is good and big. Also had the apple pie which was also served warm. Overall very tasty, a little more expensive than other drive thru's but worth it. Not really on that side of town much so this would be a treat when over there.
Went to Popeyes on 2/13/2022 and ordered a couple of chicken combos, nuggets, and chicken sandwich. The nuggets and chicken sandwich were good but the chicken tenders combo was pretty nasty. Tasted like the chicken had been sitting out and tasted stale. Will hold off on going to Popeyes for awhile, until I see a review that will change my mind.
Mission Street Popeyes was amazing. It was crowded for the dinner rush but all the employees worked well together and no one stood more than 7 minutes. Food was hot, fresh and delish!!!
Your online ordering is awful. I have been trying to order a family dinner for over an hour . after choosing everything and filling in all info and credit card. It doesn't show going thru so far 4 times then I called the girl said their is nothing they can do. They can't take cards over the phone... i am very disappointed was looking forward to your chicken. Guess i will have to go to kfc. Sorry really did try two more times .. Now all it does is stall on choosing off the menu. I give up. Lynn Beltran 3392 liberty rd s. Salem or.
Never had Popeye's before. Had their spicy chicken sandwich, and it was pretty dang good. No complaints about the food.The person working the drive thru speaker was a little quiet and seemed annoyed that we were there, but aside from that everything was great.
Its not just bad service but they always get the order wrong, waste time and make it a thousand times more stressful than it needs to be to order food. I cant believe that the staff is this incompetent, they just dont care.Its never a less than 30 minute ordeal getting food from here
Absolutely appalling staff and service. I ordered twice from this restaurant through DoorDash and both times they sent only half the order. When I called them, they accepted that they messed up but shamelessly said that it is what it is, offered me no solution, were rude and said that I need to come to the restaurant to pick up the order. Did not have the common sense that if I could have come to the restaurant at 10:30 at night then why would have I used DoorDash? Did not offer me any refund or any compensation for spoiling my dinner. They then said that they will call DoorDash customer support on my behalf and call me back but never did and didn’t receive my calls as well. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!
Ordered 22 pieces of chicken tenders and 5 chicken sandwiches in total. 3 spicy 2 regular and 11 spicy tenders and 11 regular tenders and it took over 40 minutes and were missing a sandwich and didn’t get a receipt. And seen 4 people take smoke breaks. They need better management. I have more faith in this location I’ve been going there about 2 years never had service like that:/
