This has been my regular place for pizza, but I'm going to have to think about ordering from them again. The pizza and wings were just fine; no problems there. HOWEVER: This was supposed to be a pickup order, and I stood in their lobby for over 45 minutes before someone finally approached me to tell me that something had gone wrong. One of the delivery drivers picked it up and took it out for delivery! Very nice, except there was no one home at my place that evening. So what does this delivery driver do? Leave it on my doorstep, where it sat for almost an hour getting cold before I got home. It could have been stolen, and kinda surprised that it wasn't. They were really busy that evening but this sort of thing should not happen. They either need a order tracking system or delivery drivers who can read.
First impressions are important ... and mine here (WEST SALEM) were pretty poor.I ordered online for pickup and was given a time to pick up the order. When I arrived, just a couple minutes after the stated ready time, they looked surprised and there was some hushed conversation in the back. One guy, on his way out with deliveries said to me as he passed by me that he was sorry, they had a lot of new help they were training.Then, from behind the counter, I was told it would be ready in 9 minutes and was asked if I could come back. Fine, no biggie. Went to the bank, came back more than 10 minutes later.Again, there was some confusion when I gave my name, then I was handed two boxes, but the staff member looked sheepish. I should have checked then and there.Left West Salem, drove home home in south Salem and found the half Hawaiian, half pepperoni pizza to be looking delicious. The other pizza, a greek, looked very fresh ... but also hardly cooked. Peppers and mushrooms were still crisp. Cheese was barely melted. Not only that, the dough was soggy (likely from the pretty crisp veggies). Veggies were piled high - which is nice in a way, but being that they were uncooked and the crust was soft, everything pretty much slid off. Beyond that, I had subbed pepperoni with pepperoncini peppers , yet there were none of those to be found on the pizza.I could have made a better Greek pizza at home, to be honest. On the plus side, the pepperoni/Hawaiian 1/2-and-1/2 was really good. I just think they rushed it on the Greek pizza and I would have preferred them to be straight up honest with me about the time and/or issue rather than serve me what they did.
Customer service has gone down hill. Odd moe's was my go to place to pick-up pizza for years , but not anymore. I do not know what happen or change the last 2-4 months with employees. I called a week ago to place an order over the phone, and a female answered the phone and puts me on hold or at least she thought she did. I could hear her conversation with other employees about what they did for the weekend prior. Another young man picks up the phone and starts talking to me and then stops and started talking to the young female employee in the background. I was waiting for someone to take my order, but no one ever got back on the phone . I was fed up and hung up. It was lazy crazy town. Owner if you are reading this, please retrain your employees who pick-up the phones and take orders in front. Disappointing because I like the pizza.
Great gluten-free pizza. You will not be disappointed.
Called in an order, they said it would be ready in 20 mins. Great pizza but I waited for my pie for 45 mins in the store and got ignored after I checked in. Turned out I waited for nothing because it was ready 10 mins after I checked in and no one bothered to call out the order.
Ordered pizza and wings at 5pm. Went to pick up at 6pm. Wasn’t ready. Order was misplaced. Was promised to have it delivered. Called at 7:30 was told it had 4 minutes more to cook. Why did it take 90 minutes to put it in the oven after it was realized that our order was missed. By 8pm still nothing. Absolutely poor customer service.
Awful service, not only did they not even send the delivery until an hour and a half after I had ordered. They most likely wouldn't have sent it if I didn't call. A few minutes after they arrived with my cold pizza that I had payed for online, they knocked on the door requesting for payment again. I had to show them the online receipt to send them off. And to top it all off, they forgot the ranch and packets I asked for when completing my order and didn't offer me anything in exchange for the terrible service I had received.
Generally, the pizza is actually decent, better than Domino's. I have ordered from here numerous times. Today, I decided to try a new pizza, The Mascot. That was the worst pizza I have put in my mouth...ever. I thought it would be comparable to Papa Murphy's chicken garlic pizza, but it is not. The tomatoes were awful, discolored, and not good. Not sure what happened, but I will look elsewhere for pizza. Straight from New York is similar in price, bigger slices, and fresh ingredients.
Ordered delivery Salem West (8 min away), they were 40 min late, pizza and wings were cold, wings were soggy and pizza undercooked. Super disappointed. Waste of $40
It's pretty good food but a little spendy IMO. But the staff is always nice and very accommodating... Like when they bring your food to The Westside Taphouse with a smile.
