This was the first time I had been to this specific Nancy Jos. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The burgers themselves though are the real reason we come back. Amazing made to order burgers and fries.Side note: I hadn't been to this building since it was the last restaurant and I must say the improvements to the building were much needed. Not sure of the A/C situation, but that may need to be addressed as well.
Well this location is a huge hit and miss. Just 2 days ago I got A perfect 10/10 Bacon cheeseburger and perfect fries. Today. 1/10 poorly constructed burnt burger with burnt fries. And the portion of the fries was roughly HALF of what I got just 2 days ago. They got my order wrong too. simple forgetting of the Bacon, but they proceeded to poke and touch my burger a bit too much imo...Bottom bun was soggy too for what that matters. I literally went to the dairy queen next door the moment I left because i had barely touched a thing and a 7/10 is better than a 1/10. I'm not really the complaining type and simply pointing out the lack of bacon was odd enough for me. (they did specify that the cook was new)...But still... That was quite rough.
My new favorite place to stop around Salem! I’m always looking for a good mom and pop burger place off the side of the road oh my God they have the best burgers and fries. Fry sauce was excellent! I wish there was one closer to Home

So tired of this location. Keeps going downhill. Don't know why we keep going back. Because my wife doesn't want to get out of the car... drive thru is convenient.Screwed up both our burgers. Put bacon on hers, not mine. Didn't put cheese on hers. Fry orders seem to be getting smaller. And they are always floppy and super greasy. Asked for Cajun seasoning, got barely enough to see it. No flavor. Milkshake was watered down. Just too much milk.Don't go to this location. Go to Center st. Much more consistent. Or go to 5 guys. F this place.
We ordered milkshakes and the lady said no more milkshakes because she was tired of making them. Then after we ordered a meal and were seated, she proceeded to make 2 for the next people that came in after us. The food wasn't good either. My burger was soggy from too much sauce and the fries were undercooked. They also had the AC blasting when it's 50 degrees outside so I was freezing. -- This is the rant from my angry pregnant wife, made my dining experience quite unenjoyable
Had to walk away today because the restaurant had ONE person working... ONE. one to take orders AND make the food. I couldn't stand the thought of adding more to that poor guy's plate. maybe someone went on break but even two people couldn't be expected to run it right? The drive thru was really busy.... and he was by himself. Unacceptable really..Update: I'm sorry that your employees didn't show up that's a bust and irresponsible on their part. I realize now that my hunger may have altered my perspective. I felt bad for the guy. And he at least greeted me. I hope you do hire someone who can show up because it's terrible for business for sure and I can understand that.By the way your burgers are great. I think I was so hungry and super upset i didn't get one.
Although they have delicious food they are very unorganized this is the second time that my other half and I have ordered online and they are out of the containers. They also will not give the money back. So at this point it's your out the money u spend or u freaking wait the 45 minutes for your food. This is not ok. We won't be coming back.
Really good food! Their drive thru on market needs to be revamped. Often large orders hold up others in line. It is not uncommon to be stuck in their drive thru with your food order ready, and in your hands, but you are stuck behind someone parked in front of you and you cant get out. Orders dont always come out on a first come basis.
We had a great time here at Nancy Jo's! The food is prepared fresh and is a great place for burgers, fries, and onion rings, too!
