Food and service were fantastic tonight, as always, although I can't say the same for the treatment of the servers by someone I can only assume was the manager....sushi chef in salmon orange t-shirt.Rude and belligerent to his staff, loud and in full view of customers. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!Gonna be a while before I come back, I think.
This momiji's stumps me. At first, I couldn't tell if it was a franchise or not. I'm still not 100% sure it is but I feel that it does not have the same consistency as the other momiji's I've been too in the past. I don't like their online ordering system. The sushi is not great either and it is pricyyyy. I don't like coming here very often. Three stars because there's a server there who is very skilled and welcoming . Don't know her name but she deserves a promotion if she isn't already the supervisor.
I really liked the atmosphere of this location. Quiet, with big windows looking out at the city. The waitress was very nice and checked on us continuously? I loved the food. We ordered Miso soup, fried oysters, fried calamari, tiger roll, tempura salmon roll, salmon nigiri and creamy scallop roll ? I would come back again to this location ?
This location is a little hard to get to if you're heading northbound on commercial, but not impossible by any means. The menu is less expansive than it was pre COVID, but there's still plenty of options. Most of the food is now decidedly Japanese, where there used to be a more even mix of Chinese and Japanese dishes.We've had most of the non-sushi items on the menu several times on several occasions and it's all good. The portions are pretty generous, but not obscene.I'm not a Sushi/Sashimi fan, but the people I've eaten with that are have rated it highly. The rolls are made fresh when you order them and use a lot of local ingredients.Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. We've never felt rushed, even when it's busy.I like the tonkatsu, and almost always end up requesting extra sauce, which they're always happy to provide!
My daughter had sushi to go and absolutely loved it!! She studies Japanese and the culture and the food.. she couldn't say enough good things about this place
Momiji has absolutely delicious food! Their bento boxes are fantastic and the Salem roll is amazing. They get a little crowded during lunch and dinner hours, but for good reason. Worth a visit and the wait when there is one
Not quite up to par with some of their other locations in terms of atmosphere and menu options, but still some of the better sushi in the area.No gluten free options as far as tempura goes, but they do carry gluten free soy sauce.
LOVE this chain, but I ordered 2 sushi rolls at this location and they both were served with overly ripe brown avocado. It ruined the taste entirely and I felt like I was eating rotten food. I had to throw it away because I couldn't choke it down. I hate wasting food, and money for that matter.
It's hard to find a good sushi restaurant, but this place has beyond amazing seaweed rolls ? everything was delicious.
This place used to be my favorite sushi place but it’s not anymore. I understand times are hard so I kept giving them another chance and it just keeps getting worse. Food quality and customer service are consistently not what it used to be. Sad.
