My wife and I had a great meal at Mina’s! Inside the place is nice but understated. The service was quick, kind and efficient. The food was definitely the star of the show. We ordered the Spicy Basil dish and the Cashew Chicken. Both were especially tasty! The veggies were fresh and the meats were lean and the overall size of the meals was good. We didn’t end up ordering any spring rolls or desserts but based on our other food I would suspect these would be great. Then as we were ending our meal, the chef-owner came out and chatted with us for a bit. Mina is a delight! We are from out of town, But we will be back every chance we can.
It was my first visit to Mina's today - I had the yakisoba chicken plate - there was plenty of steamed broccoli and cooked, sliced carrots, browned onions along with noodles and a wonderful, sweet soy sauce ... SO very tasty!Will definitely go back and try one of her other dishes too as she has a nicely varied menu.
First and last visit. $4 for a tiny pot of tea, $8 for 4 veggie rolls, and $12 for a Pho meat bowl which was mostly soup.
Mina is wonderful and so is her food! We absolutely loved the pad Thai and pad see ew. The Thai iced tea is my new favorite drink! Thanks Mina!
I was quite disappointed by my meal. I got the peanut sauce meal and the peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter. (I know they are similar but I have never had peanut sauce taste so much like Jiffy.) The Thai iced tea tasted quite different from any I have had before. I don't know if it was more or less "authentic" but it wasn't what I expected and it came all blended together so I didn't get to make it pretty and swirly. I would have enjoyed my husband's yellow curry but he didn't because it wasn't spicy. Finally, the kitchen was using the microwave a lot.
I've been wanting to Try Minas for awhile and I was not disappointed. The staff are super kind. The larb was fantastic, my boyfriend had the Pad Phet which was also delicious. We will be back!
BEST Salad Rolls and Chicken Satay in YEARS!!First time customer today, picked up to go order, and Mina let me sample her new iced green tea with jasmine!! So nummy! She is so sweet and the food is excellent! Will be back again soon! So happy my tummy wanted Thai food!!Thank you, Mina!!!
Best thai food in Salem. The owner was very sweet and welcoming. Service was quick. Delicious thai curries, noodles and rice. Will surely visit again.

I've been looking for a good Thai place here in Salem for thr last year! Glad I found Mina's. Went here for professional lunch and it did not disappoint. There is a dine in option, but lots of folks came in to pick up orders. It was quiet and peaceful and a nice place to meet a colleague. The food was excellent and they totally listened to me about ordering vegan options! (It's a huge pet peve when restaurants say, "oh yea we will make that vegan," but make the food with eggs or something else...) Lunch pricing seems very reasonable and there's lot of options on the menu. I like how it's tucked away off commercial, but still very accessible. I'll be back here as my go to Thai place! Would recommend.
