We were spending one night in Salem and was looking for a good local restaurant close to our hotel. We found Manna and were absolutely pleased with this little gem.
So good!! Really cute decor and lovely staff! We ordered spam musubi and the veggie caterpillar (pictured). Very yummy! We got full and were sad we couldn't finish all our food!
Sushi quality is ????! Really enjoy the take out and the hostess was so welcoming n kind. Miso soup is soothingly good! I will definitely come back more for this hidden gem!
Cheap price with very good service. Servers are friendly and good quality of food. The dine in space is not really big and they don't have lots of people in the kitchen. It's better to call before you come here.
Gyoza (pot stickers) are yummy, lots of good fish entree options, good soup, service is friendly, and they are great at communicating, including posting takeout wait times. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy but fun atmosphere. It seems like a great local restaurant that deserves neighborhood support.
This was a great stop for lunch as we passed through Salem. The food was great and if you order ahead you won't have to wait, however, we did not but the wait wasn't bad as we got there right before the lunch rush. They give you the option to have your sushi sliced or wrapped in a sushi burrito which I thought was a great idea. The miso has a great flavor. I ordered the Teri-Don and it was fantastic. There was plenty of seating and it was very clean.
I have been eating at this place for the past year and can sincerely say their consistent quality and taste will keep me coming back for more for a long time to come! This is a Japaese everyday kitchen restaurant featuring sushi and sushi burritos called "big rolls," fried chicken with rice (my personal favorite called "chicken karage" literally meaning fried chicken in Japanese) Poke and Ramen bowls. By far my whole family's favorite dish is the chicken karage (said ka ra geh), which is pieces of softly breaded fried chicken served over white rice and drizzled with soy sauce and a spicy saracha sauce that combine to a delightful flavorful blend of yumminess. I don't know how else to convince you, but this is a must try!! We have tried a good portion of the menu and have loved it all! The owners are so friendly and service is always excellent. This is not fast food (it usually takes betweek 15 and 20 minutes to get your food), but it is worth the wait because they know how to make it right! I recommend calling ahead if you are in a hurry. Definitely worth checking out, I have recommended it many times and everyone finds something to rave about!
AMAZING! My partner n I stopped by to get a quick snack, and it was a really awesome dining experience! We aren't from around here, but I do hope they get the recognition they deserve! Dragon sushi wrap is delicious. I've never really liked takoyaki but loved theirs!
I have tried probably half the menu at this point. It’s all been amazing. The curry is so filling. If they started serving cauliflower rice as an option with the sushi burritos, I’d be in weekly. Just sayin’ ?
Favorite place for sushi in Salem. Good portions, love the miso soup and the Ocean Queen wrap. Yum! I recommend Manna to all of my friends and will continue to be a loyal customer.
