I'm completely shocked and disgusted at how I was treated tonight by the staff. I guess the days of trying to please the customer are over. I had my wedding reception here 4 years ago and have been going ever since. My favorite place to go at least every other week. This time I ordered take out because I'm sick and didn't want to eat in. When I got there to pick up my order Lydia read my order and it was wrong. Instead of trying to be nice and fix it right away she argued with me in front of my 6 year old daughter and she had an attitude. So rude. Got home and my order was still not right so I called and Lydia said "I went over it with you when you were here" I tried to explain yes but it was still wrong. Instead of getting my sweet and sour chicken I only got a carton of sweet and sour sauce. She hung up on me and was so rude. Then I called back and Tiffany told me that I always complain and I should check my food before leaving next time. She didn't want to give me their names but finally said "Jesus Christ" and gave them to me.She cussed at me and hung up on me. I have only got take out one other time and have never complained. The attitude I get here is not worth the food.

I ordered chicken fried rice takeout. Staff is very friendly and order was correct. Fried rice was not very good with what appeared to be low-grade chunk chicken thigh. No fresh vegetables mixed in and the only hint of sauce seemed to be soy sauce. Too salty. I've noticed most Chinese restaurants in the Salem area only focus on quantity. Please pair down your menus and focus on QUALITY. Also, we're willing to wait a few minutes for better food. Don't let speed kill your quality.

Usually are go to spot in Salem. The last visit was not so good. We usually do take out and have been eating there a long time. The last visit was very discouraging. After deciding not to dinner in the hostess seemed to be really short with us. After placing a meal for two and paying extra for egg flower like we always do. When the order came out the waitress didn't even make eye contact when she handed the box to us. We went straight home to find it was lacking much of what we remembered. The lemon chicken was not even fried and the breading was falling off. There house rice is usually the bomb, but the have changed the shrimp and the rice seemed to be missing it's flavor. Are two main dishes seemed to be lacking flavor and the meats seemed of in flavor. The spicy dish was basic no spice what so ever. The egg flower was starchy and flavorless. It was egg and starch with onions that had nothing to be remembered. Loved the place before but I'm having my doubts now.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and have enjoyed there food until tonight, my order was short 1 box of rice so I called and was told they put both in 1 large box, I know things are tight but the box of rice was half the size of my main order and was a small box that they used to send out then the rice had way to much soy sauce in it then the pork chow yuk was like soup, I don’t know who there cook is these days but they need to go or this restaurant will lose a lot of customers, I’m not even going back to get my other order of rice that I did not get, who wants salt rice.

Freaking bomb, had Mongolian beef. Good stuff. One of the better (if not best) Chinese restaurants in Salem.Note - portions are large. I'm a big dude and eat a lot, and I've got lunch for maybe two more meals. One plate can definitely serve two.

My bf and I both used to come here in the 80s as kids and it still hits. Green bean shrimp did not disappoint and Donna was an awesome server. We noticed sizzling platers so we're already planning our next visit! Thanks for the great time!

It was good. We went for lunch and they have it down! Within, no joking, 2 minutes our food was delivered to our table. Great for a decent meal when you're in a hurry.

Not sure what happend here!. Used to come to Lum-Yuen years ago and thoughtr it was great! Not so on recent visit. Couldn't find anything ordered good. Very substandard to some of the great Chinese eating places in Salem. - naming only a few: Blue Willow and Gold Dragon

Excellent service, excellent food, the tea was perfect and I have lunch for tomorrow.

It was pretty busy as usual but we were seated within a reasonable amount of time. The waitress took our order brought us our bread and salads. About 15 minutes later she came back and asked us what our order was she had lost it and assured us that our place in line would not be missed. A waiter came by and brought our meal to us and it was incorrect. After reordering the correct meal that was originally ordered the food was overcooked and the noodles were undercooked. Overall very disappointing experience. I have not been back to the Olive Garden for 20 years and thought I would give them another try. This will be our last time eating there.
