Very fine hospitality and staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Their hospitality was genuine and they were very happy to serve. We went here on Mothers Day with our family and we were all very pleased with the food and service. They gave every mother a red rose also and made sure to wish them a Happy Mothers Day. We only waited 10 minutes to be seated and the whole restaurant was just very well ran. Our food did not take long to recieve either. God bless Los Arcos , their business and their staff. Thank you for making our Mother's Day special. Thank you for being so kind and genuine. The Wilson Family
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the prices were fair! This was my first time here, and it was a very good experience. Every staff member was eager to help in any way they could. There's no shortage of staff and they're all very polite and professional. They definitely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.
My daughter, husband who is Hispanic and I were disappointed with the quality of food although the presentation was very appealing to the eye. My husband ordered the enchilada and tamale combination, I ordered the taco and tamale combination and my daughter ordered the Pescado Frito (fried fish). The enchilada sauce tasted like it came from a can and lacked the authentic flavor associated with traditional enchiladas. Our server was not very friendly, and the restaurant was not very full and yet we waited over 30 minutes before receiving our food. Despite being dissatisfied with our order, my husband gave our server a $10 tip. After we left my husband reviewed the bill and discovered that the server charged an additional $10 for her tip!!!! We will never eat there again and left a negative review on Yelp.
1st time here.. been to many Mexican restaurants in Salem and love to give great reviews when I find a good one.. nice ambiance, but questionable service.. The food was ordinary, didn't have the authentic spices I'm used to tasting when in Mexico (very americanized).. I had Enchilada and Tamale combo plate (absolutely nothing authentic about all of it_probably the wrong chiles being used), my daughter ordered a Mojada Frita plate (they came out with 2 small over-fried fish fillets (and not the authentic full fish fry that is the norm in Mexican Cuisine).. and maybe they heard me and my family critiquing the food, because the service became distant.. (I understand, I really do) however, I still gave a $10 dollar tip on my $54 bill and the nasty waitress took an additional $10 extra when I saw my credit card balance.. To it's credit, the plates that are served look picturesque, BUT SORRY Los Arcos, you are ultra-ordinary! ..... and maybe a little crooked!!.. If you don't know Mexican cuisine, this is the place for you!!
Well 2 stars for effort but the food just doesn't taste like it's made with love and none of the sauces taste as they should..the chili verde' sauce doesn't taste like authentic home made and the mole sauce does not even taste like mole at all and the chicken was really rubbery like chewy and the rest very bland...but it was nice getting out going somewhere I never been. But also the service was extremely slow and there were bearly any people there when I came where I had to wave people down to get water because no one took the order after such a long time and then no one took our order til had to wave more workers down . They really need better customer service skills and a better system and p.s. " new recipes " I dont know if this is a different kind of Mexican food I never had or something but I have eaten tons of Mexican food in my day and this place cost alot and sorry to say I was very disappointed...if they are going to serve food like this they really need to lower the prices and maybe have a sign out saying " The imitation generic mexican food spot" I dont know...sorry but it's the truth . I hope for the future this place gets better with there food
Food was absolutely excellent probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in salem. Staff were incredible and friendly. Making sure you have all you need and checking to make sure you are satisfied.
Food is good. Their service is not so good. My family and I felt very discriminated our first time dining in. We entered to be seated as a party of 6 then was told it would be 10 minutes. Shortly after (not even a minute later) came in a family of 7, the same host asked them "how many?" And right away they were taken to be seated as we were still waiting. I went up to tell the host that there had to be some kind of mistake because we had came in first and she responded w a rude tone. We immediately felt discriminated and offended as we are colored and the family that came in after us was white. I'm not one to ever pull "that card" but this is clearly what it was and everyone needs to be aware of this. This is not right. This will definitely be our last time here.
Sat in the bar and had a great Cadillac margarita and food. Terrific service, excellent food and the best margaritas in town.
They have a wheelchair walk away available. They have close parking. The chimichanga I ordered was okay could’ve been better. The flan was good.
We had a party of 6 called ahead for our reservation, and it was put in quick. Our server was great with excellent customer service A+ for him. He was the only one running a round taking orders, serving the dishes. He never forgot one thing we needed. Great guy!
