Delicious food, tasty drinks - especially the Pedro's Margarita, and the best staff in town who always make us feel like family.
The service here was amazing. I really enjoyed my servers and their approach to taking care of me.I got the two chicken tacos menu item on my visit. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the quality of the staff. Don't get me wrong, it was good. However, the price they charge for the quality that I got left a lot to be desired.This place wasn't terrible by any means, I can just get better food for a better price elsewhere.
Looking for outstanding Mexican food in Salem then La Margarita is your place. This family owned and operated restaurant provides excellent service and excellent food. Try the chicken suiza enchilada and you’ll be hooked. The micheladas and margaritas are top notch. This business also gives back generously to the community which makes you want to support them even more!
I ordered around 90$ worth of meals last night for my family of 6. I was highly disappointed. I did a pick up, food was hot. Nothing was labeled. The chili raleno usually one of my favorite authentic Mexican meals was in edible. It was gray with a grayish sauce instead of that bright red sauce. The egg was far to thick. The enchiladas where drenched in sauce can't tell the difference between beef or pork. Or the difference between tamale and enchilada. To much sauce. Nachos the chips where burnt. We found an actual leaf in one of the enchiladas. The taco salad was edible with a nice taco shell bowl. Salsa, beans and rice where good. Inside the restaurant the environment was nice and seemed like the servers where on top of things. The chef's are another story.
Amazing everything!After calling 3 very popular restaurants and being turned down for having a family of 25 to celebrate our dads 70th birthday… Las Margaritas treated us like one of their own!!! Amazing customer service, amazing food & amazing drinks! They gave us a separate banquet room with plenty of space and music! I highly most definitely recommend them!!!

As always, delicious! I'm picky about my Mexican fare. I frequent two Mexican restaurants in town and LaMarg is one of them. Suisa sauce is #1 the best!
Our family made LaMargarita a weekly favorite every Friday night from the first week they opened. All these decades later, it’s still a favorite. I take issue with other posts that say the food is not good or tasteless and I also take issue with posts that say this restaurant is dirty. Hogwash! I’m very picky about cleanliness and I’ve never in all these years had an issue here. The food is fantastic and the margaritas are absolutely the best in town! Anyone who says there’s no alcohol in the margaritas doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Service is exceptional and management aims to please every patron. We are so fortunate to have them in Salem!
This restaurant is a favorite in 3 ways...1. It delivers on service. Prompt and friendly, they do not disappoint.2. The food is absolutely delicious, and the menu is pages of variety and not lacking in specialties.3. Environment is to be desired. Downtown culture, walking in you feel the welcoming embrace by your host. You know you are going to have a good time here.?
Service was speedy, and the food was delicious. I had a bean and cheese burrito with black beans inside and pinto on the outside.
