We've been dining here for almost 11 years as La Hacienda Real has become one of our top date night spots. Even with the plethora of Mexican food trucks, markets, and restaurants popping up all over town this counties to be one of our top spots.The servers at this locally owned family establishment are often here long term and remember you when you return for dining. This personal element adds a personal warmth to the dining experience.
I'm not gonna lie, i Love this place for the food and the friendliness. However, the last 2 times I've come here, I've specifically asked for extra broccoli, because I'm vegetarian and don't mind being charged extra for it, and both times, i feel like my request was literally ignored, as i was able to find all of 2 pieces of broccoli. Just seems uncalled for when i paid $20 for just the food.
Menu comparable to similar style Mexican restaurants in the area.Typically our go to along Lancaster Dr.Service is really good even when they're busy. However, even when they're busy they way they're set up it never feels crowded. Very spacious inside.Food never takes long. Ordered the Chicken Taquitos and chicken was black was black on a few of them, tortilla so crispy the outer layer flaked right off when cutting.Restaurant was virtually empty so we were a little surprised that food was served to table so well done.
Went in not knowing what we wanted in our to go order, the staff was friendly and patient while we decided. Food was AMAZING. It was hot and fresh even after driving home with it. Best Chile relleno I've had in a long time.
Everything was fantastic! Fresh tortillas are a must-have. Portions were extremely generous, the dishes that I tried were flavorful and reminded me of my neighbors cooking from way back. Will be coming back soon!
Very authentic food! Deep rich flavor, NOT dried out and bland like other places. I'm a big fan of good Mexican food and this place is now top on my list! ? Service was great too! Chips, salsa AND bean dip comes with each meal! The tile work and ambiance was amazing and well done!
I’m sorry I didn’t take any pictures. The interior is very authentic Mexican. The ceviche starter was tasty. It had just a little kick to it. We then had a mixed plate that had steak, pork shrimp and trout and made our own burritos with the tortillas. Caution the grilled jalapeño was super hot. $60 with the tip and a box to take home. I felt like I was in Mexico again. I saw many other items on the menu that I will have to go back and try.
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS, amazing service, fantastic atmosphere and oh my goodness.. the homemade fresh corn tortillas are to die for!Seriously an amazing place
Typical American style Mexican restaurant. I wish more of the food we ordered had a wow factor. People are very polite there, but the food and margaritas are slightly average. The prices are very very reasonable. I wish someone would open a Southern California style Mexican restaurant in town charging a little more, but delivering more of the premium tequilas and that southern flavor you can only find in Palm Desert. Perhaps there is not enough customers willing to pay a premium for better food and drinks.The owners care about their business which is a huge plus.
Our server was excellent. The meal was delivered , quickly and hot and very tasty . Need better chips. Other then that very good.
