Really good Thai food. Stopped in town for a couple of nights and really glad to have stopped at Hong Thai.The staff was also very friendly. They had messed up our order and was more than happy to fix it without any trouble.
food was wonderful, it was our first time trying the food at this restaurant ot did not disappoint.
Not a busy place at all, environment just like some fast food restaurant and average food price are okay too. The menu just some normal menu you can find in any Thai restaurants, ?they do have their special, Kong Pao Mango… I’m not sure about that tho…Well just got it done and actually it’s pretty good! Taste way more better than a lot of Thai restaurants and give you a big amount of the food :)
New owners here. If you have eaten here before, be warned that they do not make the food the same way as before. Some of the items we ordered were ok, but some were different than in the past. When I asked for a remake for the food or some way to help us out, I was given the run around and made to feel like I did something wrong. Not great customer service imo. I hope this changes but for now we are going to try other places.
So happy to have found this Thai restaurant tucked away in the little strip mall across the street from Coastal farm and ranch. They serve up food that is hot, fresh, and delicious every time.
The staff was amazing, the place super clean, and the food was superb! We'll definitely be back.
Best Thai in town!!! And I’ve tried them all! Shrimp salad rolls are delicious! Mussamun Curry is the perfect combo of sweet and Spicy!!! We will be coming back many more times!
I’m not one to complain often. I LOVE Hong Thai Express. I refuse to eat any other Thai food in town unless it’s Hong Thai. Last night (1/11/22), my boyfriend and I got take out. It was very busy in there which I love to see how successful they are. We get home, and I had a massive, long, black hair in my salad roll.. and my boyfriend’s curry was only half full. I called to let them know the issue we found and they were SO NICE! The lady at the front was apologetic and voided our transaction and offered us to come back tomorrow to make a new order for us.Move forward to this evening (1/12/22), we come in and the lady at the front (different woman) was soooooo rude. We tried to explain the situation to her and her responses were snappy and short. She answered the phone and continued to take an order in the middle of trying to explain what happened. Her attitude was the worst. The cook came out from the back to confirm the situation from the previous evening and he did remember and honored what they said. This woman (I wasn’t able to get her name) was the most unprofessional person I have encountered in a long while. Cherry on top, she still messed the order up..
We came here a month ago and my 7yo and I are still talking about how amazing this place is. We're ready to make the 40 minute drive to go there again.Originally we stopped in because it was one of the few places open on a Sunday off the 22. So glad we did! America, our server, made the whole experience very special and even turned on my kids favorite YouTube channel on their TV since it was just after the lunch rush and no one else was there.Their food, no joke, was some of the best Thai food I have ever had. And any place that makes my kid that comfortable where she is talking about it a month later is definitely making it to the top of my list. We will definitely be back. And I definitely will order the delicious Tom Kha soup and those little curry potato samoa things again.
Very good food, instantly welcoming as you walk in the door, and very friendly staff, I left a generous tip, this place brightened up my Christmas night. Definitely coming back when I have a craving for Tai food.
