Solid three. Its better the other Chinese buffets in Salem by a long shot. But still could be improved. I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the sushi. The rice was super good and it was all very fresh. The seafood wasn't horrible either. It was mainly the fried food that I had issues with. They were funky - like the oil was either too used or it was over cooked. Customer service was wonderful. The servers were really nice.They will charge you for food waste though. They have signs everywhere that say that.The signs in the food could be better also.
Great deal compared to home cooking and other restaurants! My friends and family went to the Great Wall for my niece’s 18th birthday and boy did we have a great time. The food was always piping hot and fresh and refilled so quickly. I loved how the sushi was made right in front of you! The grill was so exciting to watch it was almost like a habachi except it was for everyone. I will definitely be coming back!
Used to be better but they didn't have a full stocked buffet. Still a great meal and attentive staff.
My family and I ate there last night. My youngest child, my dad, and myself are all sick! Throwing up and more! Do not recommend going to this place. The only thing we ate that was the same was the noodles!
Had a good time but alot of the food was dry like it was made then stored in heat till needed.
DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE... The food they did have was mediocre ? and they didn't have very many options. The ice-cream ? I was excited for because its my favorite dessert. But the ice-cream wasn't very good at all. I do not recommend this restaurant. I went here because of the good reviews but now I see they are just paid reviews or fake accounts. So far the Chinese restaurants in Salem are a waist of time and money. DO BETTER...
The food was not good at all. We really were not happy about how much we spent for the food to be so terrible. They only great thing about this place was the guy picking up dirty dishes and refilling drinks. My husband had just put his empty cup down and the guy was right there asking if he would like another. And he kept our table clean of any unused dishes. Unfortunately, that was our one and only time we will eat there.
Spent alot of money did not enjoy the food at all. Felt uncomfortable guy who brought our drinks was rude I said thank you he looked at me and glared and walked away my family felt very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Food was thrown together and all around disgusting we ended up leaving five minutes after arriving there. Did not even want to ask for our money back it was that uncomfortable.
It was okay. The buffet had a good variety of food. The bathrooms and the stir-fry area needs a deep clean. It was a greasy mess on the walls at the stir-fry area. The restrooms where nasty. The toilets not cleaned in a long time. The floor need a good cleaning. It just makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is????
Usually a line when my family and I go to eat but we still get seated pretty fast. Love this buffet we have been going for a few years now. The food is always nice and fresh and the employees make sure to constantly refill what ever is needed.
