Compliments to the chef who made my Loco Moco tonight. You Nailed it. A++I got this to go, and you magically cooked it to perfection. When I got home, I didn't eat it right away. When I got to it. The Egg was still gooey, ? I wish I took a picture before I devoured it cause all I have now is an empty box and craving for another. Thanks for making dinner perfect tonight! Great food, fast service and personable staff. I thought my order could have had more rice, but they lay ended up the meat on top of a bed of rice as well. Good proportions, favorable pork.
Unfortunately this was how my first experience here was. I got the Kalua Pork, it was very fatty and as you can see very oily. The portions are extremely small compared to Hawaiian time portions, and it’s not anything special, mediocre at best.

We've been to this Hawaiian food truck numerous times while hanging out in Salem. Almost all our experiences were great. I'll love the kimchi chicken here with macaroni. Very saucy and flavorful.

My husband and I typically buy from two food carts and split both meals and this place tends to be one of our two go-to meals. Give this place a try! The food is tasty, sometimes there's a wait, but that's not unlike most of the food carts at The Yard. Are you in that big of a hurry? Sometimes good things take time.

This was the worst meal I've ordered in a long time. Like some of the other reviewers, it took 45 minutes for some rice and chicken to get prepped. The chicken was fatty and not at all tasty.
Good stuff! Just be patient and enjoy a beer as it will prob take about 20 mins or so. Great ginger spice in their sauces.
