There cheese stuffed pizza is so amazing, made with love, they don't hold back with ingredients. The staff there is kind , there is room in the back for a get together. Though you wont be talking much, as you'll be too eating. Amazing
MY family has eaten herensice opening in 74'. But now will never order again or family and friends. Prices are crazy! One 2 topping pizza and spag 50$+ with delivery and not what what it use to be with last two owners! And still two hrs and no food yet, my last time. Sorry was our favorite place but can't say that anymore!! Bring back Tom or Dave!! And to add 2 hrs later food comes cold!! And does not taste very [email protected]
Hostest and server could not answer questions about menu , they had excuses or only being there for 1 week or having worked 11 hrs already . We were forgoten about after our order and the server gave attention to larger parties who came atleast 20 min after we were seated . Soup and salad was brought to us when we asked for it after revieving our cold entrées. We even had to ask for our bread that was supposed to come with meal . Water was given to us with no attempt to ask if we would like any other beverage or desert . We did not eat our food , we took it home to reheat ourselves so it wouldnt get spit on . the flavor was good the service was completely horrible ! Everyone who works there should know what is on the menu and what is in it !
We had our dinner delivered tonight. Delicious food and quick delivery. All our food was still warm when it arrived and the salad was amazing!
Older Italian restraint. Certainly more kitchen family style. Been in biz since 1974. At lunch on a Sunday they had one server so it was a bit slow coming out but the service was good. They have mostly traditional bread and butter Italian food as well as it looks like a hefty pizza take out. The food was good. Pasta prepared well and fresh. Meats were good. They have a house made chocolate mouse that was realy good. We had spaghetti and meat balls, shrimp picatta (big shrip) and sausage Alfredo. Portions were big and tasted good. The decor was outdated and dingy it was dark and the bread they serve is ok. Although I like the food the experience was meh..
Brought my beautiful grandchildren in to eat after an afternoon at Get Air... our server was great! The food was fantastic!! The chicken parmigiana was truly the best I have ever had! Oh, we WILL be back??
Outstanding! Date night took us to Gepetto's. Very busy Friday night. Everything was so good.

I live in Salem. I have gone to Geppetto's literally since the first 3 days the restaurant opened. I have eaten pizza all over the US, in England, Brugge, Chicago, Canada, France , Spain, and Italy. I love pizza. GEPPETTOs makes wonderful pizza and really good Italian food. My son, who is now 30+, has eaten there since the first year he w as s born. All of the succeeding owners have continued to use "Momma's" recipes from the mother of the original owner's mother. I've eaten all over the American and European continents. Geppettos matches and exceeds the quality and flavors marvelously. If you don't like their food, don't go to Italy. It is true that all long lasting restaurants struggle as owners change. New staff comes on, available supplies change. . .but, anyone who regularly travels knows restaurants change. . .and VERY few last a long time without quality. Geppettos has proven itself. If you don't like it your favorite restaurant is probably some fast food hamburger joint.
Stopped in to get a quick bite just before lunch and was so grateful they had personal sized pizzas. I was able to customize a delicious, personal pie to go along with my side salad. I believe my server was Marvin.Marvin was amazing, came and checked on me a few times during my meal. The salad came crisp and cold, pizza was piping hot, but what surprised me the most was the parmesan was ice cold. This told me that it was actually fresh and real parm and they know how to take care of their ingredients.I also hear they now have partnered with a local delivery company so if you don't want to brave the winter weather to get your authentic Chicago style pizza. Show some love and get some good stuff from a long standing fixture in our community.
