We have dined here a few times, before covid, and always enjoyed the food and service. This was our first trip back in over a couple of years, so we were really looking forward to it. We decided on lunch and the outside patio. Very nice outside and comfortable. We were greeted warmly and given water, menus and bread. We both chose a pasta with gorgonzola and sausage. And soup instead of salad. The soup was not hot, it was just warm. The pasta was gummy, how do you get pasta to be gummy? I never have... seriously. The sauce was a thick mess..not creamy. With sausage that was unable to be tasted due to too much cheese. I couldn't believe this dish was being served like this. Was it microwaved? We ate the bread, soup and some of the pasta, but just couldn't finish it, or even want a to go box. It's a real shame the quality was so low. I cannot even think of returning after this lunch. This does not make my day to write this, but lunch today was just not good.

What a delicious experience of Italian food. The wait was truly worth it. We arrived just in time before the Saturday evening rush. Our waitress was very friendly, polite, prompt. She gave excellent recommendations and surely attentive to our table. If your in town looking for a great place to eat Stop by enjoy the view the hospitality of Italian food. We had five in our party and wait was short Here are some of our photos of our meals Definitely a great spot for Mothers Day or Father Day or birthday.

We thought to finish Mother's Day yesterday with a nice meal at Gamberetti's. They were clearly busy, but we were seated within 20 minutes. Not too long after, the waitress took our order and brought bread. Another wait, and we got our salad. And then... we waited and waited and WAITED, just two of us at a tiny table in the middle of the noise and bustle, watching table after table be seated after us, get their meal, eat, and check out while we still waited for our food. The waitress checked in with the kitchen several times, and still no food. The noise became overwhelming. My appetite vanished. I felt a migraine coming on. I finally asked for our order to be made to-go because I was exhausted. The waitress was very apologetic, and when our food finally came -- close to an hour and a half since we ordered -- she included desserts as well. How was the food? I don't know. I still haven't tasted it. The boxed food went straight into the refrigerator when we got home, and I took my migraine medicine and went to bed. Kitchen crew, what the heck? Management, why weren't you on top of this? I don't think we'll ever be back. It doesn't matter how good the food is. I can't endure that level of misery just for a dinner that I couldn't eat.

The staff was quick to serve and checked on us continuously, very attentive (we didn't have to ask for anything they were always on top of it). The food was excellent, the serving size was just right and the lasagna had a nice surprise with a layer of veal. This will be our Italian place in Salem from here on.

Absolutely incredible, we tried the calamari, best I’ve ever had, and the mozzarella buratta as appetizers. For our mains we got the carbonara, marsala gnocchi, and seafood alfredo. For the carbonara, we wished the pancetta would’ve been a little crispier, but it was a winner. Marsala gnocchi was amazing and I couldn’t even put my fork down. Seafood alfredo, could be a personal preference, but I don’t like digging through my food to take the shells off before I can actually enjoy my food. I loved everything we had, don’t get me wrong, just a few minor things. Can’t wait to return!

I was ready for criticize this restaurant because long waiting time for food. But it turn out that the food actually is really good, and price are nice. And a big dessert for a sweet price. I totally change my mind.I recommend you visit at least one if you are nearby, but don’t have to drive from another city just looking for it.Not as good as the one in Albany.

We've only ordered for takeout in the past 2 yrs during the pandemic, but they have a nice outdoor seating & dining atmosphere....gorgeous in the spring & summer months! Friendly staff and wonderful food!

Very nice establishment with attentive staffJacob served us in the lounge area and we didn't feel neglected at all. Gnocchi marasala dish was quite tasty.

Absolutely worth every penny. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The calamari is a must! Get extra sauce because that pesto aioli is out of this world ? most of the pastas are homemade and was not drowned in sauce (the Italian way). I really felt like I was back in Italy. Truly amazing. I will be back for sure!

The food and the drinks are amazing!! Especially great that it can accommodate my food allergies.
