When I lost my husband to COVID, it was so sudden that I had no idea what to do. We were young enough that we didn't think this would happen so we had no plan. I was lost. I admit the first call scared me because it was cold and uncaring. When I tried again and talked to Angela everything was different. She made me feel like I had someone who was going to help me get through the "business end" of it all while dealing with the emotional end. The Crown Memorial Center located me through the mail via State Programs that search for long lost next of kin. I was able to take care of my Dad's Funeral arrangements online, over the phone, and through email from over 2,000+ miles away. My favorite employee's name is Angela Rich. She is/was very caring, professional, compassionate, considerate, and very prompt at answering all of my questions. I particularly enjoyed how she didn't pressure me into spending money. She actually helped me save money. Travis Scott was also very helpful. The two of them worked together to make this entire process a pleasure despite the circumstances. If I had to do this all over again I would choose the Crown Memorial Center every time.

My father passed away last month, and Crown Memoria Center in Salem were professional and compassionate, making arrangements at very short notice. They were helpful in selecting an appropriate scattering urn, and didn't try to sell me on things and services that we didn't need. They walked me through the forms, compassionately retrieved my father from our home, and basically made taking care of necessities easier than I expected.
