We have been going to this restaurant for 42 years since they first opened. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the USA. There Chili Verde is the best. When there for brunch the Huevos Rancheros are my favorite. This is a family run restaurant that still makes there meals on sight. The salsa, guacamole, chips and flour tortillas are all made fresh daily. This is NOT Taco Bell. No greasy ground beef or pork. Traditional whole chunks of meat and home made sauces. Only problem we have is we have moved to the midwest and can't find the same quality food. Eat here whenever we are back in town.

I used to love the way the chile rellenos were mad so perfectly round, and no egg white showing. Went a few months ago and the chile inside tasted moldy. Thought it was just a fluke, and they aren't made like before. Went back this week again and again the cile tasted moldy, and they aren't perfectly round like they used to be. I should have known before bitting into it that it appeared reheated. I like the taste of the beans, but the prices are ridiculous now. $14 dollars for a moldy tasting chile is ridiculous. Health inspector needs to be called in to inspect them.

Ordered 2 fish tacos, a shrimp taco, chile relleno and a bottled coke. Server quickly asked me if I was sure I want to do that because it's very expensive to order alacarte. I asked him how much per taco and he says everything is $8 a piece including the chile relleno. I said you're right that is expensive, but how good are the fish tacos? I then asked is it homemade, do you fry the fish and batter it here? He replied yes everything is made here and we batter the fish. I noticed the sign on the way in proclaiming they make their tortillas homemade. I then said OK well if that's the case I'll go ahead and order exactly the way I did. So the plate arrives and I instantly knew that he was so full of it.. The tortillas are not homemade, they are storebought and the fish is obviously battered frozen prepackaged fish. All they did was drop it in the fryer. I waited for the server to reappear and pointed at the fish and said there's no way that is battered here and he replied yes it's battered here. I then informed him that I was a culinary expert with 2 decades of professional experience. He then replies well I'm not a chef. Furthermore, I said charging me $6 more for alacarte than the combination plate with rice and beans considering that all 3 tacos were on the same plate is absolutely ridiculous. I understand if everything is on a separate plate and there is additional expenses involved.Fraud is a big thing. I cannot let this one go. You can't claim your making stuff from scratch and hand battering your fish when you are not. This is something the Department of Justice definitely needs to hear about. It is irrelevant if you are retiring and closing the business down. You cannot commit fraud on your customers on your way out.. Shame on you!!!!

We’re new to the area and a couple months back we ate lunch here and it was so good. Last Friday we were there and I felt like I was in a different place. The salsa tasted weird and hardly any flavor and the chicken had no seasoning at all, it was super bland. The margarita might as well be mix only. The staff really didn’t care if you were there or not cause you hardly seen them . The place got really busy by the time we were leaving so I hope everyone else enjoyed it cause I won’t be back.

The food was cooked with old chicken and old beans and rice the guy behind the counter said he ate a taco and they chicken was nasty not offered anything else but to be real I would not even have gotten anything else I ate else where.

We didn't enjoy the food too much here, food came to the table cold. Portions not on par with pricing in my opinion [Signage says authentic food but, doesn't taste authentic. [$$ over priced food]. It took over an hour to get our food.

Very respectful warning welcome place. Great food, fast service. I would recommend Casa Biez to anyone.

One of my good friends was there with her daughters celebrating a birthday, unfortunately she had to leave the restaurant upset due to her daughter who is wheelchair bound not being able to access the restroom. This was very unfortunate as her daughter was also very upset that she was not be able to access restroom with her wheelchair. It would be great if restroom was available and accessible for all customers. We will be taking our business elsewhere until we know Casa Baez has resolved this unfortunate issue as I am sure it has happened with other customers.

The food is excellent, but great serviceSalsa has just the right spice
