It was our first trip in and yet it felt like we'd been there dozens of times. Every person on staff that passed by was busy, with big smiles. It was a nice atmosphere and the menu was huge. There's something for everyone... The chicken fried steak I ordered was bigger than my foot and it tasted amazing. We all ate until we were full and left with to-go containers. It only took one visit to know we're officially regulars.

I didn't exactly have the best first impression for my first time here. The staff were friendly and quick to service, but honestly that's their only saving grace. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed that two gentlemen seated near us were getting their food before us. As soon as I heard one of them say "That's not ours," I realized she was serving them our food! I waved her over. She apologized, but that's why communication is needed amongst your staff. I was hoping that the food was gonna be good after their slip up and much to my disappointment, it wasn't. I've had better biscuits and gravy at a gas station. A slice of white bread has more flavor. In other words, I won't be coming here again.

We were seated very quickly and the restaurant was empty. The young man who waited on us was very friendly and kind, but not very attentive. There were 3 of us we waited for a while ready to order. When we told him we wanted keto he made sure we had extra vegetables and we didn't even have to ask.Our meal came out hot but he didn't bring us ketchup for our fries and I had to find him and ask him if we could have some. The food was expensive for the price. The steak I had ordered medium rare was very thin and part was raw and the rest was over cooked. There was about 6 ounces of fat in my 12 ounce steak. It was tough and not spiced at all it seemed. The chicken fingers were good and the fries that came with it were warm but not hot. They were crisp though.Once we were finished, I had to go looking for our waiter to get the bill and even after I found him he was not 9n a hurry to bring it to me...I can't recommend this place for steak but could for chicken fingers. The total with an appropriate small tip was $75 for 3 people which was expensive in my opinion with that kind of service and quality of food. This was our experience, I hope yours is better...

We had a delightful dinner and time at this place! We were in town for an event and had never even been to Salem. They seemed understaffed but our waitress was training someone. After a bit, I believe the manager/lead came out to help us, Benjamin S. That's what our receipt says anyhow. I didn't catch his name in person. He personally made our visit fantastic. He let us ask questions about food and talked about the place and his favorites. You could tell he was rushed but he also made sure to make us feel taken care of and welcome. The food ended up being delicious. I heard the different staff coming and going, talking with different patrons. They had regulars and families that they were acknowledging. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming.

Expansive menu and our food came out fast and most importantly still hot!! Alot of diner food I get has usually been under the heat lamp for quite sometime but not here! It went from grill to plate to me in a flash ? loved it!My girlfriend said the salsa Is a little bit on the spicier side (which wasn't bad) just be careful if you have a sensitive palate

A friend and I went this morning for breakfast. We’re both going through a hard time in life with the passing of my father and her brother and we were just eating and talking and supporting one another. You waiter was top notch and he was so kind and nice and just amazing. When we were done with breakfast he told us another customer had paid for our meal. This just topped the cake and of course we both stream tears because of our deep conversations regarding love and loss and this was just an amazing sentiment of love. Thank you to our waiter and to the kind gentleman that showed us love and grace.

Ordered a patty melt with tots and a meatloaf sandwich with fries, along with a cup of coffee and a soda. The total came out to about $24. The portions were very generous. I could not finish my meal. The fries were excellent, very crispy, my favorite type. Everything we ordered was really tasty, but the patty melt was a little dry. The place is cute inside, and the waitresses were friendly and very quick at refilling drinks. Would definitely come again.

If I had known it was a popular older person hang out I wouldn't have gone, makes sense because my food was extremely bland. Pancakes were inedible it bent my fork trying to cut them. Microwavable pancake batter and eggs that were just eggs. No butter no seasoning. Left hungry, not willing to give anything else on the menu a try.... Still tipped the waitress. She was good ?

Slow service. Both meals incorrect (steak overcooked & husband's burger had everything on it that we asked *not* to be on it. Super tacky decor. Won't be back. 2 stars because the mashed potatoes and gravy were good, and husband liked his fries.

My friend made reservations a month before Christmas eve they gave us a time of 2pm. When we got there we were told that they don't make reservations for less than 8 and they had closed the kitchen no one was able to provide us with a meal. We left hungry very poor way to treat paying customers!
