This is a food truck in a pod of a dozen or more trucks surrounding a inside bar area with a growler fill and plenty of seating. The fish and shrimp we had were very good and huge portions. I took half of mine home.
Amazing meal! Just so yummy. You did an amazing job on the batter it wasnt to tick it was just right. It feel apart while eating it. Thank you best birthday meal ever.
First, the only reason this place gets two stars is because of the fish, it's amazing.That being said this place is unreliable and has a lot to learn in the realm of customer service. Their hours are clearly stated on the front of their food truck but they don't adhere to them. The cooks and representatives are short and very condescending. God help whoever has a issue with their order... Thankfully I never did but that's because I rarely get to order I'm sure.I've attempted to buy from this store a total of five times. I was only successful twice. This last time the worker was in the store, lights on, open sign lit, fryer still cooking and the guy said they were closed. 645pm (well within their stated hours of operation} and "this dude is done" (his words).I strongly recommend that someone with a competitive spirit and desire pick up this idea and run with it because it's a potential gold mine, if only it was run by committed and interested entrepreneurs.In summation, come here only if you have a backup plan. Do not rely on it being open and be ready for good food, but only if you're lucky enough to catch them. Be ready for an argument if there is anything wrong with your order. Good luck
Went to get shrimp a few weeks ago it was so good seemed hand battered shrimp worth the price. I live about an hour away but have been wanting some since that day so drove up today. I ordered even ordered the extra shrimp so I could share. Paid 27 for shrimp and and fries and a basket if fries extra. When I got my order it looked different the shrimp were flat like what you buy in the frozen food area. Well after the first bite realized IT WAS grocery store frozen breaded shrimp. I don't understand I paid that for boxed frozen shrimp? Why was it different a few ago and why did they even sell that to me at the same price? Ridiculous for that price so frustrating I could have just made it at home. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I'm not sure what happened why they changed the food buy not worth it. Waste of my gas time and money.
Good food but a total rip off. 13.50 was high but fair imo. But i didn't see exact change only. So asked for my $15 back and used my card. Well... apparently they had a "malfunction" with their machine. Came back to pick up food and well well. $14.50 charge... $1 extra for using a card but they can't be bothered to provide change. I support small business as i can and tip well but the shortness was just shy of rude and disrespectful. It was only a few bucks but i felt robbed. As good as the food was i will definitely not be swindled by this cart again. I suggest the birria cart instead
I haven’t tried this place yet but I’m craving a GOOD fish taco… I read the reviews first and reading this it’s like two different places… The bad reviews say basically the same: tiny portions soggy batter & fries! The good reviews all say large pieces perfect batter perfect fries…humm which cook do you draw when you go? The excellent friendly cook? or the curt unfriendly Very Bad cook! Right? I’m crossing my fingers & hoping the Good Friendly Cook is there tonight.
incredibly disappointing. the classic sandwich was very much substandard. just too small, couldn't find the fish. the fries smelled of old oil and the fish was so so small. for $15, would have expected a more robust fish sandwich
I would sell my soul to them if they let me. Best. I mean best fish and chips on gods green earth!!

I challenge anyone to find better fish & chips in Salem than Baja Fish! Fresh Pacific cod, hand battered as you order it, served hot. I mean seriously... you don't get fish this good at dedicated seafood restaurants! I was absolutely blown away to find food this top-shelf at a food cart. The fish was very tender and flaky and moist.My only complaint is that I live an hour away, otherwise I'd eat there daily for lunch.
