The whole experience was just okay. Food was over cooked. The cleanliness was not up to par. Just was not like past visits. Didn’t feel the best afterwards either. Disappointed is the only way to describe the visit.
I love this place, but it seems to have gone completely downhill lately. Was in today with only one table ahead of me and waited 30 mins for 3 tacos. Took almost 10 mins for the guy to even know I was in the restaurant waiting to order. One person working the register, serving tables and working the grill is pathetic. You can’t possibly run a successful business like this.Prices are going up, but service and quality seems to be heading in the other direction. Last time I got someone else’s order too. Wasn’t even what I ordered. Lady told me she would make a note about it so I had a credit. Next time I came in the person at the counter just looked at me and said we don’t have any credits for you. Came back today hoping that things had improved. Sadly to say they are worse it seems. ??♂️ Last trip to west Salem Azuls…Update. The spicy chicken teriyaki taco is inedible. Idk what happened to it but one bite and I spit it out immediately. Tastes like a salt lick. Barrio taco is the same way. Extremely salty. Well all three tacos are horrible. What a waste of money this was. Get that dude some help. He can’t be expected to do everything himself. Dude was trying his best. Meal to the trash. Sad.
I seriously can not explain how good the tacos are. The staff is amazing as well. No joke, throw a dart at the menu (this part don't actually do) and purchase. Guaranteed it will be amazing.
The smell walking into the place should've been hint number one that I shouldn't order here... My mistake. Horrible food, I had the "Loaded Nachos* with what seemed like boiled, unseasoned chicken, and chunks of romaine lettuce, and unmelted cheese chunks... I could've made these nachos better at home. Seriously. Go anywhere else.
I've enjoyed the food here before, but when I went to pick up an order recently, both the employee working and the one in the back making food weren't wearing masks. I guess if that's not a big deal to you, it's a fine place. But breaking health guidelines in a restaurant is a deal breaker for me.
Best tacos in Salem. So many non traditional choices and every one hit the spot. You have to try bulgogi taco
I was amazed at this food. I ordered several different tacos and each one was amazingly unique and flavorful. The Teriyaki chicken taco was one of the most amazing flavors I have had in years. I will be eating here weekly now!
They got my order wrong and the side of beans and rice have no flavor. However, the food I did receive, which was fish tacos, were pretty good. I think they are slightly overpriced but that's just me. Oh by the way I did order online if that makes a difference to anyone.
One of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Try the vampire and mule tacos. You can’t beat the mixture of caramelized cheese and toppings!
Best tacos I've had in Salem, and there are a lot of tacos in Salem! I thought there was no way they could be that good with the amount of variety they offer, but I thought wrong! Will definitely be back!
