Best strawberry sundae’s anywhere
Fruit and vegetable stand with good parking and locally raised produce while it is in season. I noticed this visit that they also had canned peaches under the Aspinwall lable. No fresh peaches or prunes this late in the season. Ice cream and frozen fruit pies available too.We purchased corn on the cob and a beefstake tomato this time. In the past we've gotten yummy fresh peaches and berries there.
What do I say about this place? What a great fruit stand to stop at. They have so much stuff for you to purchase.Fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen Carlton meats, frozen pies ? fruit from Willamette Valley pie co. Just to name a few. They also have a good selection of treats, strawberry ? short cake, ice cream cones and an espresso too. You can also go to the diner where I hear they make some pretty great foods.Stop by and say hi to Clyde & Cindy. I know they would love to see you.
No employees at the farm stand were wearing masks despite the Delta variant being rampant and governor's orders to wear masks indoors. I left and went to EZ Orchards for peach shortcake and all their workers were masked.
Been stopping there now for a few years and would have to say the restaurant is phenomenal they have great food as well they have good fruits and a wide variety of different things. With all of that said I must say I was there last week and when I entered I was asking if they had any of the biscuits that I could buy that they normally have packaged so I could make strawberry shortcake at home. The fella doing the strawberries was extremely polite and offered to carry them to the counter for me and when I asked about the biscuits he turned and asked a gentleman that appeared to be probably an owner he said sure will have them as long as it's not too many we have nobody baking today. Got to the counter had the strawberries wanted to purchase the biscuits and a lady that appeared to be one of the owners or certainly a lead person was extremely rude and very short to say no we do not have enough all I wanted was a couple of biscuits to go with all the strawberries I was buying. I get it's the end of summer and people are done with tourists this pandemic has changed people's attitude. Would have recommended this place over and over and over and I have until this encounter. I understand attitude out of some of the young millennials but out of these grown adults who clearly were at least management if not the owners should get that customer service is in high demand at this point especially from them. Don't know that I'll go back that's how rude she was. Instead I would recommend stopping on 22 at about perrydale road just a few short miles farther west and they have excellent fruit too and are very thankful for the business at the little white tent that sells peaches and strawberries and the best blackberries I've ever had instead.
OMG. We drive from Portland just to go here. The peaches are amazing. I grew up in Georgia and this is the 1st place I have found where the peaches are close to a Georgia peach. That is saying a lot. The pies and ice cream are great too
Really good ice cream, excellent fruit toppings. I dropped a star because I'm a chocoholic. I had their mint chocolate chip milkshake, lots of chocolate chunks but the chocolate has a lot wax. Tasted their chocolate syrup, it didn't have good flavor. Their blueberry ice cream was really good, their blackberry Sunday excellent.
Fresh Peach
Always a friendly atmosphere. Fun & cute little place my girls and I would stop by on our way to see grandma. We would have shortcake there and take produce and sweets to grandma
The peaches were excellant. Next time through I'm bringing my cooler so I can buy what looks like top quality meats.
