It was alright. Substitutions are not appreciated at this restaurant. Not many options for the Low-carb crowd, so making menu changes would be nice to be able to do without getting pushback or waiting for approval from upper management to make a simple, healthier change. What happened to pleasing the customer these days? They did accommodate after management authorization.
MANAGER MUST BE A RELATIVE!!! Everything would be so much better with different management. I don’t know if the manager is the owners daughter or relative but she sure acts like she owns the place. Took her 13 minutes of us waiting for her to come over and ask if we need anything she never actually came over she just hollered from the behind the bar. I said yes please when she asked if we needed to go boxes. And she acknowledged me. Then went straight back to talking to her friend at the bar who conveniently shows up all the time to sit and talk to her this isn’t our first time experiencing this manager not act like a manager much less an employee. We have been here before and all she does is talk this same woman at the bar. We’ve also witnessed we yell at employees at the front door from behind the bar. It’s just a shame cause the food is great but I don’t want to ever be around this woman again she’s just all about herself and very unprofessional. She also talked to her friend about how laid back this place is at night and how chill people are. At the moment I looked at my phone and really wanted to call her out because it had now been 17 minutes waiting for our Togo boxes that we didn’t get for another 7 minutes because she was joking and swearing in the kitchen. She’s lucky she even got tipped. Water never refilled, never came to our table just hollered. Announcing to the whole restaurant someone’s unwanted food isn’t diet related it’s because he’s religious like SO UNPROFESSIONAL… my gosh!
One of the ONLY places that routinely follows through on ALL special requests on our DoorDash orders out of South Salem. Big props for taking the extra time to make sure everything is on point (and still sorts these orders with the absolute quickness) Cheers, you guys! And, thank you.
Ordered medium done steak. Came very rare. Got a beer in a dirty glass and am not feeling well the next day. Food tasted good, but not worth it if it makes you sick.
Waited a long time for the food to come, and when it arrived the burgers were burnt and there were no fries at all! The waiter did not give good customer service. She wanted to charge us double for a lemonade because me and my boyfriend wanted to share it. She said we need to buy two separate drinks and couldn’t share. I Don’t recommend this place
We were put on the list with a 30 minute wait. The restaurant had a party of 7 a party of 5 a table of 4 and 3 at the bar.It was literally half empty.We asked the seating hostess if they are short staffed and she said no, they were just slammed with big parties. Then we called the manager while we were waiting in the car and she said she had a party of 24 at the moment. I kept looking in the restaurant and most of the waiters were chitchating for awhile with nothing to do.
The food was fabulous! Waitress was friendly and attentive. I will go back next time im.in town.
Food just isn’t good. The pictures on Uber eats for apple bees were misleading( especially the wingless hot Cheetos wings) didn’t have much seasoning on it at all. I ordered from here couple of times to test out different things on their menu to see if it would be better but it’s the same low quality food every time. There is something wrong with the way they fry their chicken too. Every time I ordered something that’s fried chicken it tasted like it’s been microwaved and super hard and tough. The lava cake is yummy though.
Food is average AF and service terrible. It sucks when this is the closest restaurant near me and they can't get a well done burger right. At least three times I've had to send Food back for being under cooked! The ribs are a joke, don't ever order the rib dinner thinking you are about to eat BBQ! The best way to describe Applebee's food is microwaved TV dinners from the 80s! ?
The food was good but not the social distancing in the restaurant. The table next to us was just across the short wall divider that is about table height. Their shoulders were literally 12 inches from ours! Also there were no barriers installed like other restaurants have done. With Covid, we did not feel safe at all. Will not dine in again.
