I wasn't mad about this visit.Normally I avoid Applebee's at all costs. It's really just a preference of mine. There isn't a lot of cooking happening at these kinds of places, which is great for consistency across the brand, but often leaves me wanting some personality in the meal.That being said, we had a good time, the food was properly prepared and actually pretty good. the server was pleasant.While I don't plan to make trips here a habit, it's nice to know that national fame from a hit song may have encouraged them to step up a bit.
I picked up a takeout order this evening. Bourbon Street Steak for my husband, Chicken Tenders for me. We’ve never really had a problem at Applebee’s before, but tonight my husband’s steak was so tough he wasn’t able to eat it. And my chicken was either over battered or over cooked. I only ate one. Just very disappointing. I paid over $30.00 for something neither of us could eat.
We ordered from here to go and when we got the food, which was a rare steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli along with the rib let platter, and the steak was shriveled and small and was tougher than any well done steak I’ve had in my life. Hard to cut AND chew. Tasted as if they had it in a freezer too long and not enjoyable for the low price of 23$ Never again thanks. Money wasted and valentines let down.
For some reason I had to remind myself today why I don’t eat here. Burger patty tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. Food was cold and expensive for the quality. Worst part was knowing Roadhouse grill was just blocks away where the food is satisfactory every time.
Just after 5pm on Sunday doing a pick up order. My husband forgot to add sauce to my order so I asked for a couple of honey mustards while I was paying. The young gal turned to her coworker huffs and puffs rudely says “ I guess if I have to I’ll go grab it” then goes “you need to add that to the bill” which her coworker said sauce is free. She then only put one honey mustard in my bag. Food was good and pick up was otherwise easy.
Good food, only issue was we didn't like the pasta with honey pepper chicken atop, Mac and cheese just tastes sweet like honey BBQ, would be better to out in side for to go orders. Everything else was great! Quick pick up and packaging was nice.
We love this local Applebee's. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My salad was prepared wrong and they made it right and gave me a $10 credit on our bill.
Last time we went here it was absolutely awesome! My wife's mudslide was absolutely delicious and my ribs were perfect!
Vonya and her staff are super hard workers. It was busy and they just worked as a team. I hope this store get some kudos. I eat a lots of Applebees and this one did not have the best food but a great service.
went here to enjoy a night out with friends. overall i usually like apple bees, but i just left a bit unsatisfied with this location due to being charged for an extra drink that i did not order. i was brought a second drink without requesting it and thought it was a free refill, so i drank it. however, when i received my bill, i was charged for the second drink and wish i would have known i would be charged for it, so i could respectfully decline. i was on a budget that night as it is and normally this wouldn’t bother me, but i had to have a friend help me out to cover my bill because of this. just a bit frustrating because i didn’t ask for it, it was just given to me. just made a mental note for next time. something else i might add is the three cheese macaroni & cheese was not very flavorful. was a bit on the bland side and decided to indulge in the cheese bites more lol
