Beautiful setting with excellent wines, white, red, and dessert. Very well crafted wood fired pizzas. Tasting fee? $15. Waived with two bottle purchase. We split the tasting ( generous enough) bought a glass and split a pizza. Pizzas are generous for two and just right for three w salad. Love to come back in the fall. Friendly tasting room, artsy bathroom, nice merch!

Ankeny Vineyards, and Dawson specifically, are one of the best hidden treasures is Salem. It was the best Mother’s Day brunch I’ve ever had. This is our second year in a row, and because of the amazing service and quality of food, we became wine club members. Special shout out to Dawson’s recommendations and the young lady (we didn’t get her name), and true talent cooking wood fired pizza in front of us was hypnotizing.
Gorgeous place set in a beautiful landscape with good wine, great food and very friendly staff.We recently held a wedding here - the price was very reasonable, the venue was gorgeous. The wood fired pizza was loved by all, the wine was great. We have been a member here for a while now and it is one of my favorite places to go in or around Salem!
Always a genuine and positive experience when we visit. Friendly, caring staff who are very genuine and kind. We’ve enjoyed great food, music, and occasionally a little dancing with our friends and family here for several years now.Many thanks to the owners who always make time to stop and chat. I highly recommend Ankeny Vineyard for it’s excellent wine and delicious food. Their staff are attentive and always provide a top notch experience. The wood fired pizza is awesome!
I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this place left me speechless. As someone who partially own a winery and works in the industry it’s disgusting to be chased out by an employee regarding tip. I’m disappointed in the behavior staff had displayed regarding the wine pickup. Will not be coming back here and will be canceling membership. There are better winery’s in the region to visit and be a member of.

We were treated incredibly rudely last night by a female staff member who stood by our table for about 5 minutes harassing us, insisting that a cat who used to come visit our home wasn't the same cat that showed up at their winery a couple months back. Desi moved away from our neighborhood also a couple months back. Another lady actually told me the name of the cat, Desi...SAME CAT. I'm not sure why this rude lady cared so much but I have video of her arguing with me about the identity of the cat. She just kept going on and on. It was absolutely absurd. At one point she told me that if I got bit in the face, I'd deserve it. She insisted that their cat didn't like to be held (I held her for 5 minutes straight while this lady was harassing us). I offered to show this rude lady photos on my phone but she didn't want to see them. Here they are. It's terribly unprofessional to harass your guests. Ankeny would be better off without this abrasive, rude person on staff.
