If no stars was an option that’s what I’d give. Probably the worst food I have ever tried to eat. Pictured below is the sliced turkey and brisket. The brisket looks like pulled pork and it’s so old and dry it is an edible. The turkey had a good flavor but it looks like cat food so I would save your $20 there are so many other barbecue places in Salem that are actually edible AND tasty***** to your response; There is no way I would ever give you a penny more. You would think you would atleast offer to remake the meal instead of asking me to try again. Thanks tried several times over the years and ADAMs RIB sucks. Ever read Salem eats 2.0.??? Obviously not

They have the best barbecue in all of Salem, Oregon bar none! The cashier and other staff are very friendly, and are more than willing to answer any questions one might have about the variety of food and drink items offered on the menu. All of the sides that we had were delicious, too! A meal at Adam's Rib Smoke House in downtown Salem is well worth the trip! ?

First and last time visiting. I wouldn't say award winning. Maybe J.D. Power is giving them out. I can do pork ribs as well, on my home bbq, tough and stuck to the bone. The brisket was shredded(why?), tough, and dry. That I do better at home. My wife reports her salmon was pretty good. We enjoyed our coleslaws and pea salads too. But you know, for the price we paid we could have had a much better meal, while someone took our orders at the table, and brought our food out. No, here you stand at the register, place your order, find a table, your name is shouted over the cooks bar, and you retrieve your trays. The staff is kinda joking and horsing around in the kitchen area. When you're done, you bus your table. In the car I'm wondering why I gave them a 20% tip.

Ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich and tots (corn muffin balls). The meat was tough and did NOT break down while chewing and chewing. Ended up using a fork and knife and drowning it in sauce. Very disappointed and probably my last visit there.

Got the pork ribs, a full slab. They were very good. So was the hush puppies (spicy with jalapenos), and the sweet potato fries. Disappointed that the corn muffin was cold. Took it home, it needs to be warm when you eat one.

My girl friend and I were craving BBQ and found this place. I have to say, I ordered the Tri-tip and it was the best I've ever had. My girl friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich and she fell in love. We were also fighting over the fries lol. Can't wait to go back.

I usually like everything I have gotten from them but yesterday I was shocked at what they tried to pass off as loaded nachos. I knew the meat would have a BBQ flavor which is fine. It was made on stale chips, very little cheese and I was unable to figure out a few mystery adds. Just take it off the menu if you're not even going to try.

I love this location. we brought our family member in for his 71st birthday. He is a Vietnam Veteran and they treated him amazing. Super amazing staff, clean through and through, and very accommodating. Thank you for making Milton Zimmer's day that much more special. Hope you all enjoyed the cake!

I’ve been here several times for the ribs (they’re probably the best and most affordable ones here in Salem) and they’re always quite tasty! The food is ready (for pickup) quickly, and the cashier is always very friendly. The sides that I’ve tried are ok, nothing phenomenal, but the ribs, which is what I come for, are never disappointing.
