Always tend to come here whenever I’m in Salem.Food tends to be pretty good the majority of the time I come here. Think of it like a Muchas Gracias expect with more choices. Is it as good as an nice sit down restaurant? No. But for cheep quick Mexican food it’s better than the fake stuff you get from the chains. I always tend to get the cheese enchiladas combo or a couple of bean burritos. Their Horchatas are so good.They never close. So it’s a good choice if it’s late at night and you want something other than a burger or it’s a holiday and you don’t have anyone to go see. (From what I heard they DO pay their employees really well on holidays)Because they are using a old 1970s era Taco Bell building, the dining area is small but that’s what makes it unique. They also have a outdoor patio as well as a drive thru.
I quite like the food here and my rating would be on the other end of the scale if they ever got my drive through order right. Instead, no matter how many times I repeat my order, including at the window, they find a way to get it wrong. Today 2 bean & cheese burritos became all beef, with my credit card charged accordingly. They desperately need to replace their drive thru ordering system.
This is my go-to Mexican food place. Not everything on their menu is a great price like their tacos are expensive, super delicious but just a little too much. Their drive thru isn't very visually appealing and the speaker sometimes modulates every word where you can't understand anything they say but hey what drive thru isn't like this? The inside looks great tho and I understand they wanted to have the same theme going around the whole building. Call me weird but I like it, besides this place has what you really came for, Great food! I recommend any of their fantastic burritos or my guilty pleasure the carne asada fries with pico de gallo. This place is 24 hours and I work night shifts so they always have me covered whenever. I spend way too much money then I should here and they deserve it. So go treat yourself to something from their menu because I promise you won't be disappointed.
Used to love this place but the food I received today was inedible. Food quality and service have decreased greatly while the prices have raised.
Received wrong food. This is the third time this has happened. Spent almost $20 on food that we didn’t order… won’t be going back at this rate. Beyond frustrating!
the food never disappoints. they are busy, but the staff is still so friendly. and the food is worth it. one of my favorite places in salem.. and they are more than willing to help their community. I can't say enough about Abiertos!!!!
Ordered a Burito. The cashier was not friendly at All. She gave me a cold burrito with a ton of salsa meat was cold and crunchy. Last time I go to this place. Now I have to cook real food, was trying to relax. That was a waste of time n money. Welp at least the rude lady has a job?
Always have great food and pretty big portions, this burrito feels like it weighs over a pound
I recently ordered a beef tostada, a carne asada burrito with no tomato, and a large diet pepsi , they charged me $18.50 for all that .. the burrito was 6$ , the tosdada was 5$ and the drink was $2.50 they over charged me by 4$….. they gave me a bean tostada then a beef one i ordered , tge carne asada burrito was cold and thrown in the bag without a wrapper protecting the burrito, and there was no carbonation in the soda , i called to let them know, and the woman on the other side of the phone told me I was lying and making things up !!!i been coming here for over 10 years !! I will never come back to this place again !! I recommend don pedros if you want authentic mexican food in salem oregon
Cute little place. First time dining in. Went with my husband, sister, and 2yr old niece. Short wait for the food but omg it is amazing. I had the chimichanga and it was huge and delicious!!
