Great food, large portions for a fair price. Service was quick and the staff was super nice. Let you know right away if something wasn't available and offered a substitute.
We were in Roseburg recently tending to the death of her mother and we ordered from Smoking Friday's barbecue. We had the pulled pork sandwiches and they were delicious. The pork was very flavorful and the buns were soft. I would order there again in a heartbeat and if you're ever in Roseburg, Oregon, please stop there. You won't regret it. Thank you so much for the wonderful food!.
Uninspired. Decent menu and fairly priced, but I've had much better pork bbq. The green beans were boring with almost no flavor. Also, the potato salad was okay, but little better than store bought. Overall, I expected better.
Meat was super dry and cover in too sweet BBQ sauce which did not taste right. Mash potatoes tasted weird to like they added some weird fruit juice or lavender to it.
This place is really quite good. I have the spicy barbecue chicken nachos and the chicken was just outstanding. It’s just a drive-through joint and the service is quick and the food is tasty.
For the last 4 years this place used to be a "go-to" stop for our family. When you weighed the quality of the food, the price and the speed of service, it was a great value. And, we preferred to support a locally owned business (as opposed to Subway). We especially enjoyed the chicken wraps and pork sundays.Unfortunately, the new owners have not been able to maintain this value. The quality of the food has diminished (not as hot, utensils are forgotten, less food), the wait times have especially gotten bad, and now the prices have spiked.Now, I acknowledge that inflation, COVID, Biden, quality of labor, etc have made it difficult for any small business to thrive.But the bottom line still comes down to return on investment. I might be willing to accept less quality or a longer wait time, but not for a 30%-50% increase in price.The staff are still nice, and I assume they are trying their hardest, and I truly hope this business will turn around. But I don't anticipate spending money here for the foreseeable future.
Got to try this place for the first time when they catered an event at my work a couple months back and I’ve been going there ever since. Great food and the owner is a super nice dude and the staff are also very polite and friendly every time.
Prices have nearly doubled under new ownership. Menu hasn't changed, Still good food.
Good pulled pork Sunday. Terrible raspberry iced tea and terrible coleslaw stay to the barbecue don't go to the sides
We have always loved this place. The food is very tasty. However, when we stopped by last week we waited in the drive thru line only to have to leave And eat elsewhere because they weren't wearing masks. Not cool at all.
