The staff were amazing, and the meals were as well, with substitutes. I really enjoy a Hot Baked potato with a $30+ T-Bone. Mashed potatoes even loaded; they just didn't quite compliment the meal.Proper Preparation Prevents Possible Problems
I can't believe it, the one place I always counted on being good was terrible. I had the prime rib (they raised the prices and now only give you one side and soup or salad. I asked for med-rare and got well done with NO seasoning, except on the outside, where it was like they dumped a spice rack on it. Usually the outside of the prime rib is my favorite but that was disgusting. Usually my wife and I go in and pay $56 for a prime rib and New York steak. Now it's $73. I get we are being hit with inflation, but how it tasted and was cooked was NO excuse. I'm so disappointed. Last time I go there. If this is how restaurants "cope" with inflation, let them all die.

For a $35 steak it was way too much gristle!!! Waitress was very pleasant. I'll stick to my own BBQ or cast iron and keep cooking my own meals and saving $$$

The fried pickles with the steak salad is a must try. This was extremely good.
Server, Lacy (not sure of spelling), was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. My husband's steak was not quite what he asked for and she immediately, and without attitude or fuss, got it fixed. Made sure our drinks were always full, and offered boxes and dessert at the end of our meal. Even though the restaurant was short staffed, she didn't let it effect her.
Best to not order fish and chips at a steakhouse. Seriously thick and chunky batter fried in ample grease. Cod was hiding. They took it off our bill. Small, mediocre house salad, 6 oz. petite sirloin that was overdone and a pile of mashed potatoes, was “market” price at $19.50, and that was from the 55+ menu! I should have asked. Iced tea, $3.50. Expected better overall.
What a great place! Our server Lacey was the best & all the food was delicious. It was a wonderful evening out. We will be back!
Typical bar/steakhouse food - good meat but overpriced. Certain menu items were not available. Menu did not have prices on all items so beware of sticker shock. Tried to compensate by serving huge portion of potatoes with steak. Only served wine by the glass no wine menu available. Pretty high price for small amount.
