Cool lil spot. Food was great, waitresses were kind and polite. Only bad was our food took a very long time and it wasn't that busy. Maybe it was a rough day for someone or they were short staffed, as every business is right now. Either way, I will def be back!
Food was yummy and the service on my first order was great. They forgot my second to go order. I got a cherry shake and it was not tasty. Hamburger and fries were great.
I gave them a 4 star, because the service was great. But, I don't know if they were training a new cook or what. The pork sandwich was too tough to eat. Really disappointed. But the nice car hop was so polite- we'll be back.
This place is extremely overrated, maybe I the most overrated joint in Roseburg. The long waits are not worth it, even for the tasty food. Plenty of places have great burgers and fries. The tone here is meant to be "casual," but it just comes across as unprofessional, with a sign that says "ho-made fries." They degrade their female staff, and customers are treated to frequent eye rolls, and little tact or courtesy. Every time I have ordered here I have been made to feel like a burden. Poor manners, and not an appropriate place for children.
What a little jewel! Homemade burgers fresh cut fries with peel on ends hot n crispy. Have been there 3 times now and not a bad word to say. Sit in car and server comes for order and delivers right to you. Packed on Saturday afternoon so a testament to the great food, service and popularity. If you've not been, do yourself a favor and enjoy a great burger fries and treat yourself to a yummy shake too. Tru th yummy fried zucchini its delicious! I promise you will fall for the place. Its got a 50 year history in town and lives up to its longevity. You'll not want another mainstream fast food hamburger again. I promise!Dine at picnic tables under patio or comfort of your car. Great for families with kids too! Hotdogs are yummy!
My first visit today, and was pleased to find the best fish sandwich since living in Ohio 20 years ago! My sister told me about it! Highly recommend it!
Fries were limp and tasted bitter. Burgers are overpriced and completely unremarkable. Shakes which you would think are a relatively safe bet were extremely thick and unable to be sipped with the straws provided. This is the third time I have visited in the hopes of finding something worth returning for, but regretfully, I did not. ? ? ?
Pete's is a cool dining experience. Car hops take your order at your car and deliver your food on a tray to your window. It's like traveling back in time to the 1950s. They do have covered outdoor seating as well. The price is reasonable, the food is good, the people are friendly and the service is good. Quite a variety of menu items too. Always a chance to see beautiful classic cars there is a big bonus!
My order was wrong and they absolutely were going to fix it and even offered extra stuff , but I was already on a time crunch so I went with what they gave me and it was still delicious! I'll definitely be back
I love Pete's been going here since I was a baby cruisin Harvard with my parents ...awesome people and awesome environment stop by on a Friday night to see some cool cars!
