Offers above average beers and interesting entrees. Happy hour provides plenty of good food, with generous portions ( a mere fraction smaller than regular size!)They’ve made huge strides lately in being attentive at this McMenamins ( service used to be slow) Huzzah to the manager and staff! A festive place to visit in a rather sad downtown

It's okay. Staff seemed off. Food was just like the others. The Aztec salad was bland. They ran out of jalapeños and didn't say ingredients were missing...I would have ordered something else. Ciders were good.

Built in an old train station, sitting in the restaurant as if time goes back to the past. Plenty choice of beers, fish & chips was good, and the service was even better. Highly recommended.

Went here for dinner with kids during covid. Our wait was the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars. There was a couple of larger tables of 8 that was slowing everything up. Waitress was super nice. Dinner was good. Kids enjoyed it. Atmosphere is cool since it’s in a old train Depot. We would go back.

It's McMenamins, which means the beer is good, the food is good, the service is friendly and it's existence is good for the community.

I'm sorry but six months ago and prior to that I would have given this place 5 stars or more. I absolutely loved and raved about this place. It used to be one of the best restaurants in Roseburg. Lately though, the past few times we have been there, we have been extremely disappointed and we won't be going back. We keep hoping the next time would be better but that's not the case. They lost all their good staff members that used to hustle, were professional looking, and nice. I understand a lot of businesses are having a hard time right now but their prices are way too high to have slow staff and cold food, that isn't supposed to be cold. Our food must have sat there forever and my dish was $22 for limp cold fries and tasteless cold terminator steak. When we mentioned to them the problems of each of our dishes, not a single person apologized or did anything about it. This isn't the McMenamins I remember. I hope they get it together because I love the place.

We have McMenamins in Washington so when we saw this in Oregon we were intrigued. The menu is similar so we knew what to expect. The interior is really cozy and inviting.

Not that many options for vegetarians. The Hammerhead Garden burger is okay but not great.Beautiful, historic building and wonderful how close it is to the I-5. Easy to get to from many directions.

Ending up a vacation to the North Central Oregon, we stopped at this McMenamins, located in a restored train depot, built in the 1880s, when the railroad was the Oregon & California Railroad (pre-Southern Pacific). The ambience was historic and charming. The food and the service were very good, Overall, it was a very enjoyable "whistle stop" for us on our way back to the Rogue Valley.

This place used to be a good place to go for pub grub...eclectic decor, outdoor patio dining. Not so good anymore...just the same old thing. Service was slow. No updates to menu and the atmosphere has definitely gone downhill. Vagrants nearby use the parking lot for a bathroom & car alarms go off every once in a while, making you wonder how safe your car is. 'Black Lives Matter' sign posted on door is a definite turn off. Maybe a mandate has comes down from corporate in Portland to try and 'virtue signal', but I do not support businesses that support organizations that want to defund police, and are run by self-proclaimed Marxists, like BLM.org. So I will not be returning. There are too many other good restaurants in Roseburg that just want to do good business and serve their customers without getting politically in your face. I'll take my business there.
