Applebee's has some great deals and food specials. Half price appetizers after 10pm has to be the king of them all. In my opinion the best part of Applebee's is the appetizers. It's a great place to go for late night hang outs with friends. They occasionally have super cheap drink specials as well. During my visit it was busier than I would have expected for a Wednesday night but the waitress still did a great job.
Didn’t spend a ton of time here and don’t really care for Applebee’s restaurants. It was right next to our hotel, so we walked over for some late night food and drink.Seemed par for the course. Decent food at reasonable prices. If you like Applebee’s, you’ll feel right at home at this location.
Food is good but can't stand the service. The staff isn't very friendly. I've dined in many times and only once had one very pleasant person wait on us. Was a young guy for which I left a really nice tip because he made our whole experience enjoyable. I'll give an example of one trip in. When it came time to order I wanted chicken Alfredo and asked if they had a lighter version. I was told they didn't have a lighter version. So I tried ordering a child size version. Waitress said she had to go speak with cook. When she came back she asked me why I required eating lighter . I did explain I had a health issue for which I uncontrollably gained weight. Wasn't till after having a thyroidectomy that I was able to take my weight off. I did this by eating four to five mini meals. I can't eat heavy because my stomach shrunk and since I would be going to work after eating there I couldn't just order the regular portion and leave uneaten food in my car for hours. They barely allowed that as an excuse to allow me to order lighter.I found it ridiculous that I even had to explain why I needed a lighter dish.
Great service and Great food! The Restaurant was clean and lively. Didn't have to wary about our little ones being to loud or bothering anyone. Great place!
We were seated, and it had been at least 15 mins before they offered us something to drink, and we asked for waters,our waters weren't filled until about the last ten mins before being asked for a refill.i just find it odd since we were the only ones in there and the other couple had left about thirty mins after we got there, and being that it was the last hour and 15 mins before closing we looked at the menu had a idea of what we wanted to order but they said they were out of the products, so we went ahead and decided to still eat there due to the fact it being late he ordered a steak and asked for medium rare, it came out well done, I ordered the chicken pasta bowl, blah. I try and give the benefit of doubt to all people and places but sometimes I wonder. They could step up there service and more attentive to the customers.
The classic bar and grill. Super friendly waiters that made our visit everything we hoped for. Food was extraordinary. Went during happy hour, and suggest getting large appetizers to share, you get good food for cheaper. Atmosphere was perfect.
Had onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. Whiskey Bacon Burger was to die for! Had 3 drinks total, the 3rd one, which was the 2nd Bahama Mama, it wasn't that great, it tasted really carbonated and like there was less alcohol in it. Otherwise Had an amazing date night!Rated 4 stars only because the drinks weren't consistent.
This is a decent chain and a solid option for a last minute place to meet up with friends or family. Food and Service were both solid for the most part and I could be wrong but it seems like the menu has shrunk over the last year or two. I was also surprised that a chain of this size did not have any real Vegetarian/Vegan type options? That is not a big deal for me but for the person I was meeting it took a good while to work with the waitress to get something put together that met his dietary needs and I really expected a chain of this size to have at least a small Vegetarian/Vegan section.
The meal was absolutely delicious. It was our first time doing the "to-go" order method which was great; however, we were mission some sauces, the guacamole to our nachos, and were charged for breadsticks that didn't even come with our order because they were out of bread. Upon calling, the manager quickly resolved the issue, decided to reimburse our entire dinner, and said he would train the staff better on double checking orders. What an amazing team! This is what the restaurant business needs to continue to thrive. Thanks Roseburg, OR Applebee's for your kindness and shining example.
Applebee's a lot of them. Because I like the food. The service was really well. Great waitresses. They all make sure we had everything that we needed. It was busy so that was surprising
