Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Wish resturaunts here would make chocolate shakes with chocolate ice cream, but this one is one of many that don't. Hersey syrup and vanilla ice cream passed off as a chocolate shake should be a crime. However I don't hold that against this place as I know it's a cost thing and my experience was genuine. Service was nice, food was delicious, atmosphere great, shake was fake. ?

This was the worst evening I've had in regards to a dining experience, maybe ever. I had a potential business partner and his family come up from California and i talked this Burger joint up for few days... Upon entering the place was obviously slow, almost empty except the couple at the bar having a beer. We were a group of 10 and i asked the bartender if I could fix the tables for my party while she poured a beer, she said of course... So we grabbed two tables and joined them together... We were happy, smiling, having a good time UNTIL some lady comes into the dining room and was like, "what are you doing" "you can't move the tables" " that's a fire hazard" i respectfully informed her the bartender says it was cool. She "back down" (ish), but was over heard talking crap! what a buzz kill! We were confused and my business partner was like what the heck! We didn't get welcomed. I had no choice but to get up and leave, we fixed the tables just like we found them, and we left. I work for one of the biggest on your lot home builders for Central Oregon and was thoroughly embarrassed. My business partner said on the way out well your place is empty I guess we'll take our $500 worth of business to some other restaurant.

The garlic fries are worth the trip alone.... best I've had hands down. The burgers and all ingredients were fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Clean and courteous, attentive staff though they did seem behind on orders. Honestly we didn't mind and with employee shortages everywhere it felt like they were trying the best they could! The building is well lit western decor. Great family place or stop after work when you don't wanna cook!

Came in with 2 friends for an early dinner. Dirty tables everywhere (had 2 other couples in the place at the time). The burgers came out and they were good! Service however? Once they get you to pay up front, INCLUDING TIP, you are soon forgotten.

Great tasty burgers, big selection of beers on tap. Gotta give credit to their fries also. A lot of places can’t do fries right, too soggy or greasy, etc., but the fries that came with my burger were cooked perfect.

Amazing burgers and fries! Comes with the best tasting sauce…thank you!! Keep it up, will be back to this place for sure! Highly recommend to anyone that is in this areaAnd also, no covid rules or nazis here!! Good job for standing up!!

Enjoyed this great burger place after a challenging hike on Misery Trail at Smith Rock. At first it seemed like it wasn't going to be such a great experience here because they were so overwhelmed with customers, but within a couple of minutes we were able to get a seat at the bar which was great since the Olympics were playing on 2 tvs over the bar. After being seated the one staff person we had contact with the most, Ben, explained they were short-staffed which is happening at other restaurants due to covid, but having them be honest and let us know they'll be with us as soon as they can was all we needed to hear. We've been in the customer serving industry and understand what it's like to be in the weeds as they call it. While Ben is running around serving others he was able to get us a beer while we wait for our food....he thoughtfully brought us amazing onion rings as a starter since it would be a bit of time for our lunch. Sitting at the bar we were able to chit chat with the staff that was there and were moving swiftly to help their customers - they were all very friendly and were making the best of a bad situation. And the wait was worth it - we had the Lava Butte burger and it was also amazing - and the sweet potatoes fries were yummy. We will definitely go back there to try their other burgers, enjoy their company & the atmosphere:)

I ordered the Broken Top burger and the garlic fries and it was so good. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back.

Staff was beyond great, they walked by and loved talking to my daughter. Waitress had a great recommendation on lava butte burger, beer was nice and cold, food was well cooked! Overall i would recommend this to anyone not from the area!

I was so hungry when I went in I forgot to take a picture. I LOVE that they have an option for a mini burger! It was so small as a slider but it was just right and it was so tasty! The flavor was perfect and the fries were seasoned just right.Staff was prompt and friendly and made an effort to have a conversation which was welcomed! The facilities were clean and accessible.During the holiday parade I also enjoyed sitting out next to the fireplace.
