The Pizza here is great. Not doubt about that. But the delivery fee of $5.00 is ridiculous. We live less than 10 min from this location. Also, on their website it clearly states that delivery to Tetherow crossing, where we live, is free if the order is over $30. Our order tonight was $48.00, well over the $30. I addressed this with the employee over the phone and all she said was that due to the drive to our home, they now charge $5.00 on top of the current deliver fee. Ridiculous. Would be a good idea to update the delivery language on the website so customers know what to expect when ordering. The standard delivery fee and now an additional $5.00 for a 10 min drive, brought a large pizza to $48.
I'm from out of town and found this place near my hotel so I decided to give it a try. I was greeted upon entry by friendly, nice staff but that's about where the positive side of my visit ends. I ordered two medium pizza's and after paying the VERY steep price for them (just over $60 for two medium pizza's. YIKES) I waited patiently in their dinning area which took about 20 minutes to prepare and cook. It was about 4pm so it was after the lunch buffet rush and before any dinner rush so it was rather peaceful while I waited. Looking around I found crumbs still on the tables and on the floor. It looks like the staff took the effort to push in all the chairs but not sweep or wipe down the tables. The pizza buffet area, although shut down since lunch was over, still had crumbs all under the heat lamps. Now for the food. I ordered a hawaiian and a BBQ chicken. The crust, although nice and crispy and not floppy, really could use some seasoning. The hawaiian wasn't bad but I could tell the pineapple was from a cheap can, not sweet pinapple at all. The BBQ chicken on the other hand, well... I couldn't finish it. I ordered it with extra chicken thinking it would be chunks of chicken but was not expecting this ground up chicken product and the BBQ sauce is horrible. Definitely cheap generic store brand BBQ sauce. I hate to be so negative and this might be a good place to bring the kids that can stomach this lower quality but be aware you will be paying big big bucks $$$. I even overheard the staff tell a woman ordering a pitcher of soda that the soda wasn't even refillable. Would I go back, sadly no. I'm glad I tried it as I like to try new things but it's definitely a one and done visit.
This is locally owned & although it's spendy it was our favorite pizza place & worth it until the last couple years. The last few times we've ordered from here it's not even been decent let alone good. We've tried multiple times to give it another chance but $80 bucks for burnt spuds, burnt tasteless pizza crust, & tasteless taco pizza, is more than disappointing. They use to have the best pizza, spuds, chicken, & service hands down. Now, I prefer Domino's both for price & taste. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone & staffing issues aren't a good excuse for poor quality control & lack of flavor. They still have great ranch dressing but that's about it.
The pizza was very good. But the prices are insane. We ordered a large combination, a small pepperoni and a mini cheese pizza, plus 4 small sodas and it came to 80.00 and some change. 80.00 for pizza is insane.I understand when wages are increased that prices will go up, but I can make much better pizza at home for way cheaper. It just isn't worth 80.00 of my hard earned money for pizza.Even a 5.00 coupon doesn't make it worth it.I thought a few years ago that 33.00 for a large pizza was insane but 43.00 for a large is just crazy.Soda doesn't cost much. They should reduce the price of that at the very least or it should be free with your order of 50.00 or more.Sorry but I won't return. It's just not worth it.To be fair, it was a better pizza than the place in Bend, when Pappys used to be there, but still not worth the money in my opinion. It will be tough for a family to afford pizza at Pappy's. You don't get your money's worth.
The staff was extremely friendly and wait time was decent. But... the food was terrible. Pappy's used to be our family go-to, due to their big pizza size and the pizza quality. It seems that they have a new recipe, because the flavor is terrible and the sizes seem way smaller. I love supporting local, but I think we'll go elsewhere from now on.
Best Taco pizza I've ever had! A little pricey but well eorth it if you have kids.
The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is price. The staff was great, I'm a long haul driver and parked down the street. I called and they were closing in 10 minutes. I told them what my delima was. They stayed open an extra 15 minutes take me a pizza. I wish more places would do things like this.to top it off the pizza was really good.Thank you
Great place for family and friends. Plus the play area is great for kids and all their energy. The staff was wearing masks, and they followed protocol. Whether the customers wear masks or not is not for them to have to regulate. That is not the employees job. Their job is to provide good food, and service. Like most businesses, finding workers is proving to be very difficult. So a little patience goes a long way.
The place is clean and has a fun kids play structure.Pizza was not cooked all the way through, specifically the toppings. Crust seemed to be cooked. They took the pizza back to cook it longer but it didn't cook any better. I think they were really busy that night.Staff wore masks but did not require the patrons to wear masks at any time, even when ordering at the counter or in the play structure. I don't blame them - seemed like staff were all teenagers, and the whole town isn't wearing masks. It likely wouldn't be safe for them to try and enforce it.
Although they made our order incorrectly, the food was decent and the restaurant was clean. Clearly, they have some systematic issues to work out, so pay close attention to your order as it is delivered to your table. When we told them about the problem, there was not an offer to change it to a positive experience.Sales 101, turn a negative experience into a positive one. Management clearly has training opportunities with these employees.
