I've been here several times. This is probably my least great experience going to this restaurant. Due to inflation they've had to now start charging a 3 and 1/2% fee on all tickets unless you pay cash. They do have a sign posted so you can choose to not eat there if you like. I ordered the fajita salad and it just was not good. The sauce that covers the vegetables and the meat is overwhelming and it is just not something I would order again. I've eaten here many times and the food is always really good. This is most likely an outlier and a personal preference.
Was very surprise at the cost of eating there and then they add a service charge, Food was not that great to be paying that price.
Madelines is definitely one of the best restaurants in Redmond. The food and service are always top quality. It's always busy and packed, but they bring out chips and salsa immediately and keep on top of refills. Not for the COVID weary, that's for sure. A little pricey for standard offerings like burritos and fajitas but this is definitely offset by the portion size. The one miss was the house margarita. The tequila used was not great. Not enough to lose a star as I should have ordered the Cadillac, but was hoping it would be good.
Today I decided to have a Hamburger , Holy Cow best hamburger ever. The drink was a Dragon Fruit Margarita . The best ever
The service and the food was excellent. Because of Covid this is the first time I have eaten out in almost 2 years. I was SHOCKED at the prices. When the bill came because the food and service were good I left more that the requested 20% tip. This morning I looked at my receipt. If I had seen the $4.20 service fee tacked onto the bill I would not have left a $30 tip. I am assuming that they charged me to box up my left overs. I will think twice before I return.
I really liked Madeline's. Unique flair of classic Mexican dishes with some American steaks too. Atmosphere was simple and fun. Service was great with knowledgeable staff. Drinks and food were above average. Full bar that can accommodate any taste. Prices were fair considering food quality. Off street parking available. I'll go here anytime I'm in Redmond with a need for good Mexican food.
Had an amazing lunch! Love the food! Service was a bit underwhelming but that wasn't normal so I chopped it up to a bad day. I love the large menu, it makes it a safe place no matter the preference! Kids menu is 9 dollars and includes a drink. Everyone left stuffed! Thank you guys for being a staple in our Redmond Community!
After many great meals at this restaurant we were very dissatisfied with our most recent experience of halibut fish and chips which had been wonderful on previous visits. The halibut was frozen and dry, tarter sauce was heavy mayonnaise, not even comparable to the same previous meals. Order was wrong when picked up, had to wait additional time and we were still shorted bread. Most disappointing was the response from management when I called to let them know, He blamed supply problem and said I had to be more understanding. Living so close to the Oregon coast we would gladly pay more for better quality than product shipped from elsewhere.
The best restaurant experience in years. The staff everyone there was very friendly. The owner made his self present, we loved the table side nachos from the famous Spanish Italian. The restrooms were very clean. We will definitely be back.
Our favorite place to eat and drink in Redmond. Portions are enormous and authentic and I always have take home for lunch the next day. Cocktails are spot on and delicious. Always a pleasure to see familiar faces behind the bar who take time to personally stop by and say hi. The owner is always present and pays attention to detail to ensure a wonderful dining experience. A very comfortable space indoors and the outside patio seating will knock your socks off!!
