Another impressive Portland food truck. It's really amazing how they can make such delicious and good quality food in a small space.They focus on fish and chips here and have a few other options, such as clams, chowder, and prawns.I ended up going with the combo plate that had cod and snapper. The fish was perfect and well accompanied by the fries. You don't really need the sauces for these, but those were a nice addition and made the food even better.

The Clam Chowder is amazing. Cup or Bowl it won't matter. Their both great.
It didn't seem especially busy in the cart pod, but the 2-person staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. They also wore no gloves or masks. Money was taken while they were cutting potatoes [cringe].Nonetheless, stuck it out hoping to enjoy the halibut (which I am fairly certain was cod) and chowder. The chowder was herby and delicious though lean on the number of clams. Honestly the best thing was the tartar sauce!Maybe it was just an off day.
I’ve been craving for clam chowder for a while now and have been tempted to even drive to the coast to get some. But dang am I so happy to have found Year of the Fish. The reviews raved about how great their clam chowder tasted, and they weren’t lying. It was really REALLY GOOD! I’m so happy I got two bowls, cuz one wasn’t enough for me. Also huge serving of fries for $4! Safe to say I’ll be coming back.
Their portions have significantly shrunk this 20 dollars of food

First time oder thru a delivery service. Delicious. Clam strips accompanied by the best zesty and flavorful sauce. Rosemary scented clam chowder cozy and comfort driven.
Delicious fried buffalo prawns! Love the homemade fries. Quick service! Plenty of outdoor seating in the area. Friendly people working the cart!
I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!! The BEST CLAM CHOWDER I've ever had!!! And I have searched far and wide, it is so so good. And they have oyster shooters for $2?!??!?! I was actually having such a bad day and I had one and felt so much better! Honestly not the absolute best oyster I've ever had but pretty damn good and you can't beat the price so I'll be taking a dozen next time :) Their prices are unbeatable, I mean, I am so tired of people raking you across the coals with their prices (I get it but sheesh) and they have great prices for seriously good quality and tasting food. My new go-to chowder and oyster spot and I'll have to try other items on their menu. And the father/son combo is so wholesome too. Wish I had a picture but that food is gone now haha.
